HIGHLY recommend. My boyfriend doesn’t like or eat fish-he loved/eat the bourbon glaze salmon I ordered. I don’t like steak or eat meat-I eat some of his filet. The food was outstanding and the drinks are amazing! Romantic vibes and the service is amazing. A must stop!
I found this place via Google and decided to take a shot and try it for my birthday dinner tonight. I’m so glad I came upon it because it’s my new favorite Italian restaurant. The food was amazing and flavorful, it came out in a timely manner, the drinks were amazing. We met the owner and he asked how everything was, which we much appreciated. I will be back again!

Very nice atmosphere! First time going there despite passing it a million times. Met the owner in the parking lot, not knowing who she was and she was very friendly, as were the entire staff. I didn't eat due to an earlier meal, but I was in the company of 3 grown men who absolutely loved their meals, drinks and appetizers. Since it was a little family gathering, the owner ( I'm sorry I didn't hear her name!) moved us into another area away from the live entertainment so we could talk. We dined in front of a beautiful fireplace. Again, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. My boyfriend and I will definitely go back on our own. Although I've been vaccinated, it was reassuring seeing staff and customers adhering to Covid safety policies. This would be a great place to meet up with friends or for a nice romantic dinner for two. You won't be disappointed on any level!! Update: had dinner there last night 11/29/24. The maple glazed bourbon salmon was divine! My grandson, 10 had a large portion of chicken fingers and fries, husband had veal parm. The other 2 young men dining with us had chicken parm and lamb ragu. Everyone loved their food. Along with the hot bread and extentisive drink list, I loved everything about our meal. Also, every time I have been there, the chef is guaranteed to come out and make sure you are enjoying your meal. I truly appreciate that touch, especially being a chef myself. Wonderful place, wonderful food and wonderful staff! Try it....soon!

We’re new to the area so we weren’t sure what to expect. I got a Negroni to start which was solid then I ordered the short ribs with papardelle and my partner got the notte pasta (meatballs). My partner’s dish could have been a tiny bit hotter temperature-wise but mine came out perfect and I was really happy with the flavors and quality of ingredients for both dishes. We got the tiramisu for dessert which was a bit heavy on the chocolate syrup but delicious nonetheless. The owner came out to greet us during our meal which I love. Great experience, would go again.

Cafe Notte is a beautiful hidden gem of a restaurant for large parties, rehearsal dinners and and events where quality and excellence are of the upmost importance. I recently held a rehearsal dinner for my son and his wife, the wedding party and other important guests. The dinner was beyond delicious and the staff was excellent. Debbie Santucci, their party and event coordinator is top notch at her job. Every detail was carefully planned and carried out. Her goal is to make your event as perfect as possible, and she did just that for me. The restaurant has an incredible chef, (Debbie's husband) bartender, and wait staff.Every member worked to make our evening flawless. I would definitely use them again!

Wanted to give a long overdue shout out to Café Notte for making a hard event easier. I held my husband Rick Matthews Celebration of life here on July 21. It was a beautiful event and the food was superb. Debbie and Jerry really worked hard to come up the perfect food choices for the type of event and time of day and the fact that it wasn't an RSVP situation made it trickier but they did an excellent job of guiding to make the event wonderful. David also made the bar and technology set up easier too.
We had our wedding there as well 9 years earlier so has a special place in my heart for sure.
5 stars all the way

We just had our wedding at Cafe Notte last night 9/21/24. It was the most incredible event! We rented the whole restaurant and our family and friends raved about the venue, food, and atmosphere. The food and drinks are amazing. Debbie and Jerry made the day go smooth and seamless. The staff members were so nice. Our guests have nothing but incredible things to say! I would have another event at Cafe Notte in a heartbeat and we will be back for dinner often. Thank you for such an incredible day we loved every moment! -The Aikens
Highly recommend this place for delicious homemade Italian cuisine and beautiful atmosphere! We had our wedding here last year and we plan on coming back every year to celebrate! The owners are wonderful and very accommodating for any event you are planning! I also recommend this place when customers ask me of a good restaurant in the area!

We tried Cafe Notte during Restaurant Week and were not disappointed! Each course was delicious; the lobster bisque was a must-have, and the house salad tasted freshly picked. The pepperdalle was mouth-watering, and the black forest cake was to die for. Drinks at the bar were memorable (kudos to the bartender), and the wine list was solid. This was truly our "find" of Restaurant Week!

What an enjoyable weekday evening out! With Pittsburgh Restaurant Week in full swing, this restaurant knows how to do it right! They’re offering a four-course meal exclusively for this week, ensuring customers don’t have to wait too long and their staff stays efficient. The food was delicious, and the service was perfectly friendly. As my friend said, this place is a hidden gem! So, next time you’re driving down Ohio River Blvd, make this your stop. Every dish we had was better than the last. Thank you to the team that evening for making our night out excellent. We will be back!

The quality of the food was not reflected in the price. The bread and oil dip was absolutely delicious however I had the Chicken Romano and there was a lot of fried egg on the sides, the chicken wasn't served hot, the broccoli stems were too tough to bite through, and the risotto wasn't fully cooked.
The service was very good, our servers were excellent.
Parking: There's a parking lot and there's extra parking nextdoor.

My boyfriend and I went for the first time tonight and it was fabulous! My boyfriend had the veal Parmesan and I had the eggplant Parmesan. My boyfriend got a cup of lobster bisque to start. Everything was outstanding. We sat at the bar and David was wonderful. We will definitely be going back.
