Website is hard to find, booking a table there doesn't work. The phone seems to be disconnected... drove over to it during open hours everything is dark... did this place go out of business?
Easily one of the best and most creative restaurants in our fair cityNew Year’s Eve was a blast. See you again soon Toni and Cafe Zinho
Best dining experience in Pittsburgh so far. My wife and I lived in Amsterdam and have been looking for a similar dining experience ever since we moved to Pittsburgh. We found it!
What a cute little spot! Super quaint vibe with sweet servers. All of the dishes were great. It is BYOB and cash only, FYI.
I think this little, unassuming place tucked away on Spahr street is some of the best food I have had in Pittsburgh- my new favorite place!
An extraordinary dining experience in every sense. All my guests rave about it. Owner is chief chef. Features Portuguese and other dishes. Unbelievable ambiance. BYO, CASH ONLY.
I’ve been here three times and each was a great experience. BYOB is a nice benefit.
My favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh and one of my favorites in the whole world. The cooking is flawless, classic, perfect. Ingredients are fresh and you are always remembered and made to feel like family. This is a true underrated treasure in the dining scene of America.
My fav place to eat in the Burgh. Just a classy European dining experience with mom-like top food. The only place you find a lamb burger in PA.
Extremely small portions for its price, average taste.

Each year my significant other and I take each other out to dinner to celebrate our birthdays. Our celebration has two standards, first, it's a place we've never been before as a couple; and second, its a surprise location until we pull up to the front door of the restaurant. We've been doing this for many years and have had a fun time with the experience....until Cafe Zinho. The reservations were made approximately 10 days before the requested date. On Sat Jan 22 at 7;00 PM, we pulled up in front of the restaurant's Spahr St location, to a dimly lit restaurant. Before parking the car, I suggested she check whether there was a problem as the place was so dim. Yes you guessed it, she was greeted by a sign on the front door "Closed gone ice fishing, we'll return Jan 27". I understand a restaurant can have all kinds of emergencies that can cause an unscheduled closure....but ice fishing????? No phone call WAS MADE TO US cancelling the reservation. This is/was a Pittsburgh first, at least from our perspective. I hope the fish were biting, as we will never be bait for this "so-called restaurant" in the future. Classless outfit!!!!!Cafe Zero.
Fabulous food, service, and ambiance The tomato soup was delicious, like none that I’ve ever tasted before. Forgot to bring a quart home with me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They have some really interesting menu items. Everything is cooked to perfection and well seasoned. BYOB or you can run over the pedestrian bridge to the liquor store. Really nice atmosphere with fun staff and an excellent chef.
Stopped in for dessert! Very good.
This a small place where everyhing is well orgazined, great service and an amazing food with a portuguese original taste. First time I stopped there with my wife, but I will be back soon.
