A real home away from home type of bar. Great food considering it's prepared in a kitchen smaller than a walk-in closet. The staff are great people and worth getting to know. Food service was still reasonable even with a packed house.

Came in as first timers and lived our visit. Great service by a guy who knew their beer and the flavor profiles. We ended up getting a pizza and liked it. Not a floppy pizza, nor a cracker crust, but a bit thick and crispy.

We will, absolutely, be back.

Cappys is a hidden gem of Shadyside! Great atmosphere and staff! I love how the food is prepared with air fryers. Nothing tastes saturated with grease, which is really refreshing compared to other venues. Definitely worth visiting!

My daughter and I went there after shopping at the Apple Store across the street. It was cold and snowy otherwise we would’ve gone elsewhere. It’s a dive in the worst sense of the word. I ordered chicken strips and they were absolutely disgusting. I’ve never had chicken so rubbery and tasteless. It appeared they had been microwaved! Our sodas were flat. So we switched to lemonade and it tasted like powder lemonade. The only redeeming thing about the visit was the waitress was pleasant however she never asked how the food was, I assume she knew the answer to that. This place should be called Crappy’s. Save your money and go elsewhere.

the menu is broad, covering breakfast, omelettes, sides, lunch and dinner items. According to listings, the café offers a full “breakfast” menu including egg combos and omelettes.

The café format (casual, café‑style dining) tends to be suited for meet‑ups, casual meals and coffee catchups, which is appealing in Karachi’s café scene.

Because the listing shows a breakfast menu and various categories, it suggests the place is designed for relaxed dining rather than ultra‑formal — good for outings with friends or family

There was an old man that worked on Saturday at 10pm that had a meltdown when he ID’d us. So trashy, unprofessional, and visibility intoxicated. Treated us so poorly and me feel degraded. Stay away, Marios is across the street

Staff were very rude and yelled at customers. Visit one of the many other great bars in Shadyside….AVOID CAPPYS!!!
