Very fun more divey spot but tasty apps and chill atmosphere. Maybe not the best for a bigger group but enjoyed the vibes and will be back for trivia night! Good beer deals too

I had such a great experience at Cappy’s for my first time. I was greeted by the bartender and server and immediately felt welcomed by the staff. Our server Rob made sure we were taken care of and happy with our meal and drinks. He talked with us like an old friend and truly made me feel like I am a regular. I will definitely be back and bring my friends next time. Cappy’s is worth the stop and I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without stopping in!

Cappy's is the quintessential Pittsburgh neighborhood bar. Regulars and out of towners mix and laugh. Great food and great drinks mix perfectly. Ask for a pickleback.

Overall, solid place. I got a buffalo chicken wrap. It was very crispy and tasty. Which went well with a cold beer. The prices you can't beat. Perfect for a chill place to watch some sports and hang with friends.

Respectfully as a former bartender I was appalled at the behavior of the bartender on a Friday night. I am personally someone who has been told I am too nice and sweet and forgiving, but when I came in with some friends to do karaoke and hangout, the bartender was immediately rude from the start. Rolled his eyes when we approached the counter, probably because we are girls in our mid 20s, was snarky when we ordered, did not ask for an open/closed tab (after I asked him to close it) and left it open and got irritated when I again, asked for it to be closed. He made it seem like a major inconvenience when he wasn’t even busy. Everything was said with attitude and eye rolls and he slammed everything down on the counter when giving it to us. I just wanted to enjoy a fun night after the Pirates game with my friends and he quite literally ruined my mood for the entire night. Again, as a former food service employee as a waitress and bartender I cannot believe the way my friends and I were treated. I understand if you are having a bad night but the way he was so friendly to everyone else at the bar shocked me. Even my one friend is a regular here and was the major recipient of this behavior. I will not be returning here anytime soon if ever, as well as my friends.

Not an immigrant friendly place. I have been to this place a couple times and this time for some reason, I was treated differently. I didn’t carry a passport, so they didn’t let me have a beer. So, in my humble opinion, the place sucks
