Great food, very friendly staff, lovely spot. I had the baby kale salad with a crabcake. Very easy to get a table at lunchtime on a weekday, plenty of room.Dietary restrictions: They had some nonalcoholic options! I got the ‘Not Quite Aperol Spritz’ which was great.

Came here for the first time for my anniversary and have zero regrets about the decision! The ambiance is cozy and warm, all staff we interacted with were wonderful, and the food was absolutely fabulous! We will absolutely be back!

Very calm environment peppered with seasoned patrons. Delicious appetizers, wonderful drink specials for happy hour. If you haven't tried it yet, this should be on your short list for an after work gathering. Better for intimate engagements; dim lighting and close seating.

All around, great food and great service. We tried the three spreads and they were excellent. Especially the red pepper one- it was bright orangey with a nice Smokey flavor to it. The tartar was good quality and combined with the toasted bread, creme fresh and some caviar. It was. A blend of crunchy texture and salty flavor. To add, the calamari was the best I’ve had. It was different from the other ones I’ve eaten. The pieces were very tender and more salted under neath the fried crust. As my main course, I had the pork chops and it was nicely cooked as I expected from a fine dining restaurant. Once thing that I didn’t enjoy was the lemon cream on creme brûlée. I ate around it because I found it too intense. We sat outside but under a tent on a nice day. But what could’ve been better was the ambiance. The tent because of the wind and the birds would, from time to time, make creaky noises that caught us all by surprise. Otherwise, it was a great time for me and my friends

First time my wife and I dined at Casbah. It was a fabulous experience! We shared a few things on the menu which included the hummus (with this AMAZING warm chickpea flatbread), the grilled artichokes, the fried calamari and shrimp and the Long Island Duck entree....EVERY morsel was delicious. The sourdough bread was great! The flavor of the hummus was one of the best we ever tasted. The grilled artichokes with that ezme was a marriage of great flavors. The calamari had a perfect light crispy batter and was perfectly cooked. The duck entree proved to be a great choice served with potato gnocchi - it doesn't get any better- as the duck breast and thigh were awesome. The service was great and after dinner I had to go back and give a shout out to the kitchen staff. THIS foodie was impressed. Can't wait to go back as the Casbah proved to be another feather in the cap of the Big Burrito Group. Many thanks for a memorable experience!

Delicious duck and the bread was really good. Only complaint was that there wasn’t more of it. Dips were really good and swordfish is normally tough to keep moist but it was very well cooked. Solid meal.

A very enjoyable experience with kind and attentive service, a nice atmosphere and decor, and really good food. Absolutely excellent duck, filet, pork chop, and short rib ravioli. All four of us really enjoyed our main courses. The scallop appetizer needed some help - they were not seared or seasoned all that well, and the accompanying black eye peas (or whatever beans they were) were not tender and the dressing just tasted of acid - not quite rightly dressed. But that was the only disappointment, and we think an oversight of sorts, not how the dish should have been finished. So we forgave it. The crème brûlée with lemon curd was delicate and delicious, we shared that, being quite filled from the generous entrees!

Food is wonderful and service is always friendly and helpful. I've come here a lot more since soba changed their menu, but I've really been enjoying it. If you like Mediterranean food, definitely give it a try.

As a fairly regular diner I would like to see at least one new item on the menu on a regular basis. I don't come as often due to the menu not changing. I do appreciate the special weeks, re pasta. Overall, very good

We have searched for a Pittsburgh restaurant that offers a CONSISTENT experience and Casbah is it! The food is so consistently good that it compares to no other in town. The drinks (and our out of town friends will testify!) are consistently great. And, the service is consistently unparalleled. We don't mind paying a little more for a dining experience and Casbah offers a 5 star one!
