Commonplea Catering was the catering vendor for the Heinz History Center. We still hear from our guests about the food and how tasty everything was. We wanted some seafood options at the cocktail hour and they were able to accommodate that outside of the passed appetizers we had. They had a tasting event a few months before our wedding where we got to try everything before choosing our menu options.

They were incredibly communicative and helpful up until dinner was served at the reception (when we had a couple last minute changes pop up). Common Plea was also very accommodating to any/all dietary restrictions and customizations for our guests. Since they were an exclusive caterer through our venue, we felt the prices might not have been as competitive. However, the food on our wedding night was delicious! We have continued to receive very high remarks from our guests on all the food and drinks that were provided.

Common Plea was our exclusive caterer for our wedding at Heinz History Center, and we were initially hesitant because we wanted the chance to shop around. But from the jump, before we had even signed a contract, Maria worked with us to build a menu and plan that stayed within our budget and delivered a phenomenal experience for us and our guests.
Maria was supportive from the jump, talked with us multiple times to make sure everything was how we wanted it and was genuinely fun to work with. We invited both of our sets of parents to our food tasting, and all four of them loved her. And then she and her team gave us phenomenal food and drinks during our wedding.
Get the risotto and the croquets if you can, we wish we could've taken home a freezer full of them. They were the stars of our menu! And thank you to Maria and her team for being so kind and caring from Day 1 through the night of our wedding!

Attended a wedding at the Heinz History Center, Nikki was the server for our table. I have food allergies and she was very accommodating and made sure all of the food I had was correct. All of the services provided by common plea were excellent from a guest stand point. I must say Nikki was absolutely fantastic. I wish she could be at every event I go to.
