cold barista, taking wrong order (i said hot latte and I even want to sit here), they gave me cold latte with paper cup, but I am too lazy to speak to them so it is what it is. commonplace at penn and thomas was better

Sitting back and relaxing with a cup of Joe. Very calming atmosphere. Not the most comfortable seating (ouch! My butt) but is very private to working solo around others doing the same.
There is comfy seating in the back (A couch and chair) if it's not already taken. Perfect for spreading out and doing some school work.

Customer service and quality are always consistently solid and this place is always clean. It’s convenient that they always have grab-and-go items available in the fridge. Parking can sometimes be challenging but they can’t really help that. Anyway, 10/10!

@commonplacecoffee in squirrel hill Pittsburgh was an artsy coffee shop with plenty of seating, great selection of sandwiches and coffees. All drinks are made with craft and care.
Worst service. Rude and nasty employees. If it wasn’t for the speckled egg next door, I’d never step foot in there again.
Wish I could give 0 stars.

Independent cafeteria with a very cool astral! We tried espresso and past coffee regularly. We love both! The attendees were helpful 🙂🙂🙂
We come here often to work from the cafe! I really love their coffee, especially the seasonal drinks!
The place is comfy and there are a few outlets available for charging your devices. I wish the seats were more though, and the seats close to the door could sometimes get really cold with door opening often.
Overall, it’s a good experience!

One of the better pour overs I have had. Bright and calming place to read or get some work done.

Not sure what took me so long to write this as I have been coming to this location on and off for nearly a year! My work colleagues and I absolutely love coming here. The coffee is tasty, the food is delicious (please bring back the bacon gouda scones!) and we love the atmosphere. They have some really cool staff stickers and they do these rotating art projects for customers to do which adds another special layer to it all.
Honestly though, it is the staff that brings us back in as they are absolutely fantastic! They are always happy to see us and to chat with us. A Big shout out to Elliot for her Steller customer service and conversation starter earrings!

I come in once a week! Great and quick service and so many places to sit. The cafe is super clean, and it’s some of the best coffee in PGH. The espresso is served with a small pastry and some sparkling water, so bonus points for that.

I didn’t care for the coffee. Barista seemed impatient to wait on me. I hate feeling rushed to order. Too crowded. No electrical outlets to charge my phone. I feel like I wasted my money. I doubt I’ll be back

I went on Monday July 29th at 4:53 pm. Right before closing! The barista accommodated my request for a double shot of espresso. Which was delicious! I am eternally grateful .
