Cracker Barrel is a great place to go to get some good home style food like maybe grandma used to make. Try the pot roast it has great flavor. The menu is full of great choices and the prices are pretty reasonable too. When you enter you go through their gift shop first take some time before or after your meal to browse their selections. We go here quite frequently. Food and service has always been good. This time was very different. Wife ordered Meatloaf was burnt on 3 of the 4 sides. Couldn’t even cut through the burnt part with a knife and it had no gravy on it like it normally does. I ordered the Grandmas Sampler breakfast. Ordered over medium eggs. Received scrambled. Asked for sugar free syrup, received regular. Correct eggs finally came after I had finished my pancakes and all my meat. Server took glass...

Seemed to be heavily understaffed and it took a long time to be waited on and a very long time to get our food. This was very unusual from my experiences eating at Cracker Barrel
