Great food truck. Good luck finding a seat cause children jumping on tables and the employees don’t care. Makes it hard to sit sometimes.
Staff was very rude to our kids and whole extended family. The staff we interacted with needs to learn to just basic kindness. If your a parent, don’t go with your kids, they seem very resentful towards families with young children and will not ask you with any respect if your kids break an unmentioned rule.
Rude to our kids.
Nice that they have food onsite and usually another food truck. Beers are good. Atmosphere is nice. Can get noisy inside due to large crowds of people. Some of the staff could use some training on hospitality and professionalism. Some interactions were fine and with other staff members they came across rude. Also, overheard one of the staff/bartender making fun of a customer. I am the kind of person who is usually bothered by interactions like this. Some people don’t mind stuff like that. Personally, I won’t be returning based on the rudeness of the staff. Hitchhiker brewery is just around the corner and staff has always been above and beyond there. Remember to be kind!!!
Located in sharpsburg, they opened a new location a few years ago, it spacious, modern, clean. I drink their ipas, everything they brew is good
All around great experience. The new location is very modern and spacious and clean. I really enjoy the vibes and the beer. Def will be coming back.
Great Nitro beer. Love the atmosphere and the permanent food truck!
Very impressed! Loved every single beer (clean, refreshing IPAs, the märzen and festbier we're on point too), cool atmosphere, gorgeous brewery, and the Blue Sparrow food truck ...flavor town!
Husband enjoyed the dumplings and I had the monster grilled kim cheese, (very filling) ridiculously amazing.
Forever one of my favorite breweries in Pittsburgh. I know they specialize in IPA’s, but their kolsch and altbier are to die for. I’ll always recommend them, and love coming here after work for a beer and some food from Blue Sparrow.
Every beer I tried was very well done. I do wish they had a little more variety on tap though. The service was excellent! I like the openness and size of the inside. I like the logo and brick exterior of the original building better though.

No dogs inside or on the patio at The Dancing Gnome! We are just passing through and had our pups with us. I asked if it was a local ordinance and the bartender said, “No, we just don’t want dogs around here. Most breweries don’t allow dogs.” I told him I have never been to a brewery that didn’t allow dogs on the patio. Sooooo, we are headed to another brewery that allows dogs. But this is America, and they are free to make their own rules.
Husband had 2 short pours and said the beer was good. Beer and dogs go so well together. I’m not supporting a place where I can’t sit outside with my doggos.
Great atmosphere, nice space in Sharpsburg. Parked right out front on a Friday night.
Lustra is one of my top beers of all time, and is my go to.
And the new space that Dancing Gnome has is terrific.
5 stars.
Loved the atmosphere. Probably the most upscale bar in Pittsburgh. I got a great smash burger from the Smashery and my wife got food from their main truck. Amazing time!
One of the best to do it. Never miss out coming here. 10/10 for kids, families, parties, beer, food, and a great place.
Fun spot with a great vibe.
