Located in University of Pittsburgh area, a great place for coffee and sandwiches Divvy Coffee & Buns @divvypgh . Plenty of seating inside and tastefully decorated. The mumbai veggie festival savory bun hit those tastebuds!

They changed the breakfast sandwiches at some point and now, honestly, they are not much better than fast food sandwiches or even a Jimmy Dean's frozen one.

These sandwiches used to be a highlight of my week, I cannot recommend it now because of high cost and frankly mediocre food now. The coffee was never excellent but acceptable, which I tolerated because of the great sandwiches. Now there's bad coffee, unimpressive food, high prices, and a sterile, cold cafe atmosphere.

This place used to be so good… :( Another review said their sandwiches were “a step up from McDonald’s,” and I thought that was crazy since I remember their sandwiches being fantastic — but they’ve changed their sandwich cheese to American cheese and it overpowers everything else in the sandwich. The bun might be different as well. I hate to agree, but their sandwiches now aren’t much better than your standard fast food sandwich. Save your money!

I also got a latte that was only 3/4 full, which normally I’d overlook as a chance mistake, but that was just added insult on top of the sandwich.

From out of town and so glad we walked by to try this little spot! Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches with a good vibe and friendly staff!

This has become my favorite spot to grab a coffee or tea in Oakland! They use commonplace coffee, which is easily my favorite in the city. The espresso is never too acidic or bitter, it’s perfectly smooth. They have such fun seasonal flavors and syrups, but my go to is usually just a plain and simple matcha. When someone can get the standards like that right, you know it’s good. The staff is friendly and efficient. The space has a great vibe to hang out or work for a little bit. I look forward to my matcha each week!

Overrated. Long line, slow service, don’t eat in. 25% tip request for counter service is insane.

Divvy restaurant sells coffees, lattes, espressos, teas, savory and sweet buns, salads, acai bowls, and other menu items.

I ate breakfast here. Two employees provided excellent service. I enjoyed the stylish interior design with flowers and a bird cage. I really liked the flavors of my Pittsburghese bun (with peanut butter, pretzels, and chocolate), acai bowl (with granola, fruits, and honey), and tropical-passion refresher drink.

Walking in, this restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and interior decoration and it was packed at the time I went. The service was good and the staff was kind but the food took much too long. Ordered an Ice Chai Latte, which came out very quick and was definitely on the sugary side (which I enjoy) and had a great flavor (8.6/10). Also ordered the Famous breakfast sandwich with sausage egg and cheese, which took almost 25 minutes to receive which I think is much too long for a coffee shop. They were busy but the sandwich itself was good with the fluffy bun and well cooked egg (7.4/10). I would recommend going here when they aren’t busy to sit down for a nice drink and get a quick bite.

I come here a couple times a week and every time I have great service, the food is always great, I love that they make things in house and my latte is perfect every time no matter who makes it! Highly recommend!! Also Jake is great!!

Honestly don’t understand how this place has good reviews. If you like a ton of sugar in your coffee, go here. I saw the barista literally pouring more than a quarter of the medium cup with syrup. One tablespoon of that has at least 23g of sugar. Ordered a pistachio baklava drink and a berlut sandwich. The berlut sandwich severely lacked in flavor and it felt like it had been microwaved. The bread wasn’t cooked all the way through and tasted stale. Also the sandwich was missing 2 key ingredients that the description stated. Not to mention that each item was 8 dollars.

This place has so much potential due to their beautiful seating and atmosphere but fails due to incompetent and untrained workers. Instead of hiring college students for cheap, this place seriously needs a real barista who is passionate about coffee and at least a mid-level cook who can bring life back to the food.

great place if you want an insanely marked up latte that tastes of cardboard. standard campus coffee shop. go to 7/11 and buy a muffin instead it'll taste the same and they don't raise the price by $2 every semester. also there was egg shell in my sandwich bun ?

Went in for breakfast after driving up from Alabama. The kids had ice cream buns for breakfast to fuel our day of museum fun and walking around because it's summer vacation and why not? I was also delighted to hear the employees were Swifties and we had a quick minute to to clown and gush over TTPD. If we lived in Pittsburgh, we'd visit often.
