Mario's in Oakland is a great lunch spot. It is never terribly crowded and they menu has a lot of great options. I usually go with a salad or wrap. I love that you have options of sides to pick from including fries or a side salad. The service is average but the staff is always very helpful and friendly. Also a great place to grab a drink at the bar with a lot of different drink specials.
My boyfriend and I went here before a concert. The food came quickly and hot. The portions were worth what you’re paying (besides wings). The drinks were good pours and our server/bartender was so sweet and attentive. My concern with service wasn’t the person waiting on us and the rest of the restaurant, but the other 3/4 bartenders standing behind the bar doing nothing. Great place and great food!! Love the chicken thumbs they were the best chicken tenders I have ever had. Our bartenders was very knowledgeable and very nice. Would def recommend this place especially before a Pitt basketball game!
