I can't speak for their other food, but the brisket was not good and I will not recommend it. It was very dry and OVER seasoned. It tasted similar to gas station beef jerky with EXTRA salt. The special dipping sauce that came with the brisket tasted akin to ketchup but somehow worse. Likely my worst BBQ/brisket experience I've had. Mind you, I'm not an expert and have only had brisket from 6 or 7 restaurants.

There is no better brisket than at Spork Pit. You wit have to drive to Austin to taste anything this good. Waitstaff was incredible, both in attitude and knowledge of the menu. Large and satisfying beer selection, master cocktail maker behind the bar. Crowd was happy and fluid throughout the evening. My dinner companion raved about the ribs and we each had tasty sides of collard greens and potato salad. Go now before the crowds line up at the door.
Website said all about pop up Carnival. Look up times says 11:30am to 9pm. Well they are open but no pup up anything. Guess only in evening. Very disappointed. Food was not all that great.

The change from Double Wide Grill and ALL of the vegan options they had is horrible. They have 3 vegan things on the menu now. This used to be my favorite vegan restaurant in the country, knowing that I could take anyone here, as they had options for all parties. Sadly I won't be back after the menu change. Not only did they go from 10-15 vegan options to 3, but the entire menu for meat options is smaller as well, as my brother noted. The vegan food they did have was delicious, as it always has been. But sadly not worth an hour drive to Pittsburgh anymore.
My husband and I heard about this "Cannibal Clown Cafe" thing happening at the old Doublewide Grille and thought it would be something cool to check out. Sign was cool, Poster's were cool, Menus were cool and the Food options sounded great. Facebook event took us to an Open Table reservation form so it seemed pretty legit. When we arrived and walked under the large clown-face entrance we obviously expected to see a clown/circus atmosphere inside. We were seated in the bar area. Only one decoration and not one clown to be found. We were disappointed and confused. But... the food sounded good and we were hungry so we stayed and ordered. Mozzerella Sticks to start. They arrived really quickly, and were delicious. Bob ordered a Burger and Fries and I ordered a small Mac-n-cheese bowl with Jerk Chicken and a side of Chili. Our waiter disappeared after dropping off the Mozz Sticks and we didn't see him again for a half an hour. While waiting I decided to walk toward the Restrooms to check out the Back Room. Guess where the half-assed Carnival setup was? In the back room where they weren't even seating people. There WAS a guy dressed up as a clown (who never left that back room) one clown decoration hanging from the ceiling, a couple of kiddie carnival tents and one corner table with red and white stripes around it. That was the "Cannibal Carnival Cafe" I guess... ❓️ Food finally came. Everything on my husbands Burger was wrong so he was basically left with a patty and a bun. Fries were ice cold. My Jerk Chicken was dry and ice cold on top of what looked like a thrice-microwaved bowl of mac-n-cheese. Completely inedible. I politely let the waiter know the jerk/mac was not edible and asked if he could take it off of our bill. They really shouldn't have charged us for anything but the Mozz Sticks and Chili -- We felt "tricked" into going there for something it definitely WASNT. Huge disappointment.
Awful service. Had a reservation at 815, arrived at 745 and had to wait for someone to notice my friend and I to be seated. Drinks took almost 30 min to come out and our food came at 930 when they closed at 10. There was no one there and it was not busy, so the wait was honestly kind of ridiculous. Not a great experience
We probably won't be back until they've had time to improve. We love Spork, but this is not close to their standards. The cocktails were great. The food was average. Too expensive for what we got. My hub & son were not at all happy with their burgers. My cubano sandwich was as if someone who'd never seen one before made it. It was ok. but the cocktails were great. Service was below average. We were not given waters until we asked for them. Had to get our own ketchup (for burgers +fries). No one checked back in w us after food was brought out. had an empty cocktail glass for several minutes; had to flag someone down to ask for another cocktail. Had to flag someone down to get our check. Our reservation was at 4:30pm on the Saturday before Halloween which was going to be very very busy at this location. Maybe we were there too early? Who knows. But we won't be back until we hear there have been improvements to the food & service.
DW has gone from a 4 star to 1 star --- the "platter" has gone from a tray to a dish, that is ok if the food was good. But it was mediocre at best - texas toast is not TT but a slice of square white bread so over toasted, unable to cut. Pulled pork was dry and had no flavor. Limp, cold fries and the cornbread was stale. I know restaurants are struggling, but for $19 I won't be back. Also I love dogs and enjoy seeing them - but may be a detterent for some people since they are permitted to the full patio space now, not just the previous one area.

Service was cheerful, and checked back just the right amount of times. We had the Double Wide and Barbecue burgers.. the bacon was perfectly crispy, the onions sautéed just rright, and the burgers were cooked the way we ordered. And the French fries? All I can say is ...yum!

I went here for the first time recently and had a mixed experience. Loved the dog-friendly outdoor space and atmosphere, along with the tasty menu choices. The service however was quite slow, from the server to the kitchen. It was Saturday evening when we went but it didn’t seem terribly busy at the time, so we were surprised how long it took to get waters and the food. Just as we were going to ask the server about the food coming out (it had been almost an hour), they came up and mentioned that the kitchen was short-staffed and the food would be delayed maybe another 15-20min. They kind of were asking us what we wanted to do, which I found odd since it’s not like we would decide to cancel our order at this point. Having worked in many positions in various restaurants I was understanding but still perplexed that the server would tell us the food was delayed AFTER we had already been waiting for a while. All that being said it didn’t ruin the experience. When the food came out it was hot and delicious. We were certainly impressed by the flavor and the portions of it all, so I left satisfied. A little confused by the service but I came for tasty ribs and I got tasty ribs.Kitchen: ?Server: ?

Food was good and the atmosphere was pretty cool but the waiter messed up in a multiple of inexcusable ways. Here’s a few of the issues we had:- they brought out half the tables food 15 minutes earlier than the rest of us- they brought out all the food without remembering to give us utensils, requiring one of us to go get them ourselves from another employee- they didn’t listen to our drink order correctly- they didn’t split the bill the way we requested- they never introduced themselvesThis waiter basically too every opportunity possible to make a mistake. It was completely insane. If I’m going back I’ll be requesting a more experienced waiter.

The brisket mac&cheese is the best in the city by far. They allow dogs in the outdoor seating and have a nice little menu just for dogs. Being right on Carson Street the traffic can be a bit annoying as you're eating, but otherwise it's a great atmosphere.

I love the dog patio and that they have a menu for dogs! Just be aware it's pretty hot if you eat outside. The past few Sundays I've come they were out of several menu items.

We had an amazing time at Double Wide Grille in Pittsburgh! Their dog-friendly patio and special “Doggie Menu” made it such a delightful experience for our furry companions. The fact that they cater to our four-legged friends was a big plus for us. And let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely divine! The flavors and presentation were top-notch, leaving us thoroughly impressed. A definite 5-star experience that we can’t wait to repeat!

Very slow service. Only had two waiters for the high amount of people there. Great vegan/vegetarian options. Food tastes amazing. Highly recommend.
