My Sonshine treated me today. My first time there, would ride by but never stopped. I’ll be stopping from now on!! They live up to their name, cause the food was 🔥🔥🔥!!! I had the small Jerk Chicken!! Delicious 😋😋😋

I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas with a side of cabbage. I got it from the food truck so there might be a difference from the actual restaurant. The chicken was very dry and lacked jerk sauce. Seems as if the temp was too high on the grill causing it to burn and had to be left in longer to fully cook. Next time add more sauce to try the hide the dryness. The rice had very little peas and tasted primarily of thyme. The plantains were surprisingly delicious but cabbage was ok and had corn which was odd to me. I will try it again because I feel it might be an off day.

A great place food exquisite Caribbean dishes as I hear people speak about how delicious the meat dishes are although I'm not a meat eating individual.

I was a jitney so I don't know about the food, cleanliness or service. But I get a lot of trips there and anyone I've asked says the food is good so if you like that style of food it's probably a good bet.

I’ve been here before and the food was great, proportion size amazing but this time around they gave me a kid size order. Very little meat, a corner of cabbage and hella rice. They might be sexist cause Last time I went with a man. This time I went alone so I’m not sure what’s up with that ??

Very friendly and helpful staff always willing to help customers decide what they may want. There are times when dishes sell out for the day, but staff offer suggestions which may suit customers desires. Various bottled beverages are available from waters, juices and sodas.

I love this place, for many years I been goin and it’s always delicious I never have no complaints. My food is always on point and the fact that you have real Jamaicans making Jamaican food is a plus I love it. I will continue to go for my curry chicken, red beans and rice and cabbage. Also a key point if you want oxtails you need to be there early because they do sell out fast. but other than that, everything is delicious and fresh ???
