On July 8th, 2025, I placed an order through GrubHub at the Five Guys location on Freeport Road in Pittsburgh (Aspinwall), PA. I chose this location because it was the closest to my residence. The order was placed at 5:25 pm, and consisted of a BLT, small fries and a milkshake. The delivery was supposed to occur between 6:17 pm and 6:32 pm. While monitoring the delivery person’s route, I noticed that he was headed in an opposite direction, driving as far as Schenley Park in Squirrel Hill!! That started changing the delivery time for my order. I called the driver, who - after mumbling some ineligible words - said he was on his way! Well, here I was, after a long day, waiting to get a simple meal from a nearby establishment. What I received was a cold (literally) order of the most expensive BLT ever ($9.35), same with the french fries ($6.11 for some dry, tasteless, and COLD fries), and a melted milkshake ($6.95).
After eating half of the meal, I started having stomach issues. I will not describe them here, but this was my worst experience with a delivery from a local restaurant via GrubHub. I did not want to reach out to the restaurant because - while I had something akin to food poisoning - I wanted to wait until I was ready to write this review. Needless to say, and in spite of some of this place’s stellar reviews, I will never set foot there or order from them again.
I think Allegheny County Health Department should check them out, and GrubHub be more inquisitive regarding both their restaurants and delivery drivers.

I went here last night after the huge storm and nobody had power but they did. The place was super busy the employees remained calm and respectful. Line was out the door and they were running out of food. The boy at the register his name was Scott even though he was running back and forth between making milkshakes and waiting on customers he still greeted every customer with a smile including my self. Great experience in a stressful time. All 4 employees were efficient and friendly so thank you to all working 4/29/25 at the waterworks five guys!

Just here to state that the person review under this is a complete and utter lie. I don’t know when the last time you may have visited this store but it was definitely not a week ago. May god bless you in ways to help you with your situation in life and guide you on a path of honesty and righteousness. This store has gone through many obstacles to be where they are now and I’ve watched them as a repeat customer get better and better so please reframe slandering this place for whatever reason you may have

Just left after stopping by for a quick order and I just wanted to say the staff was next level friendly. Especially for the end of a shift on a Friday night. Dominic (I hope that’s your name), the guys with the braids working the register…went above and beyond for the young lady who came in really upset…she seemed as if she got bad news from the time she placed her order to it coming out and he even prioritized getting her order out and walked out the store to find her. That small act of kindness touched me and I’m sure meant a lot to her. Take care!

We had a complicated order. Even tough there were a few mistakes, they went out of their way to not only make it right, but went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience. The shift leader was hospitable and lead by great example. Great job all!

I received such great service here. The prices are on the higher side. The burger and fries that I ordered were just mediocre. The burger was mushy, and the fries over salted. The seating area wasn't very clean, the tables and chairs needed wiped down. The customer service received alone, though, was enough to go back. Let's hope for a better experience next time.
