Hands down the best deli in Pittsburgh. Fresh ingredients and my order is always correct (and I have eaten here MANY times). Some may think it is pricey for a sandwich, but they use Boars Head meats & cheeses, Breadworks bread, and the sandwiches include a pickle and a bag of chips. I think the price is more than justifiable.

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich this afternoon and was very disappointed. The order was suppose to have lettuce, tomato, onion, peppers and chicken. I was only given chicken and peppers in the sandwich, despite the worker writing down that the sandwich was suppose to have lettuce, tomato and onion. When I called in to ask what happened, the worker was rude and not apologetic whatsoever. She told me that it wasn't her fault and did not offer to remake the sandwich. On top of that the sandwich was very dry so I would not recommend. Not a good experience.

Stopped here for lunch today as I was in the mood for soup. Definitely not disappointed. However, they only had their staples as far as soups today, which is chicken noodle, matzo ball, and mush mush. As well as chili. Had a traditional Reuben, which was very good. Chicken noodle soup was also excellent. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. Follow for more...

Love the cinnamon coffee cake.

Excellent sandwiches and sides served with a slice of good old fashioned coziness and memories of days gone by. My sons swear by the #4 sandwich and the matzah ball soup. And a well-kept secret, their coffee cake is to die for!

This good Jewish deli is almost hidden on North Craig Street, but don't miss out on Bob's delicious place. Corned beef on rye? Excellent. Maztah ball soup, in various serving sizes? Lovely and homey. The menu is quite broad, but I've not had reason to explore it too far -- I'm confident you'll enjoy anything there no matter what.

Worst service I've ever gotten at any restaurant in America. I called around noon to order something, and the guy on the phone says, real rude, "Uh, we're not doing any cooking here today. Okay?" Like, oh pardon me for assuming this RESTAURANT cooks things... I mean, I've worked in restaurants. He could've said, "The friers are down today," or "The ovens are being cleaned," or "We stop making orders past a certain point in the day." I would've understood. But no, he just treated me like a complete idiot. So then I change my order last minute, and I guess the thing I ordered came with a side of fries. "What did I JUST SAY!?" he asked, all bitter, then laughed at me. Never going back. Screw this place.Oh yeah, and for the owner, it was the day you decided not to "do" any cooking, if that helps narrow it down.

Grilled Reuben, matzo ball soup and Birch Beer are awesome. The potato salad was just kinda ehh.

Love their matzah ball soup. Best deli in Oakland by far. Good prices and good food. Friendly service as well.

Very expensive for how small the portions are. Bread on sandwiches and bagels were small and tasted like it was from the grocery store/store bought.

No idea how this place has such good reviews. Same review about this place being expensive and not even that good summed up my entire experience perfectly. 17$$!!! For a bacon egg and cheese on a baby roll along with soggy limp greasy fries. The eggs texture was as if they blew it up with air or filled with milk, unseasoned and the fries were like wet noodles. Mind you, for 17$. Low quality ingredients and wasn't even made up for with quantity. I pay 10-13$ for a hero Bacon egg and cheese along with fries at any other deli and ends up being far tastier. The buyers remorse is real. ?
