Food is delicious I love the chicken ramen with the egg and fish cakes. I wish you could do reservations though

Used to love this place to come and eat. However I come for my birthday a Sunday night check in on waitlist I’m told 25-30 min wait max! So we wait as a party of four and after 30 min I check in to see how much longer. Then I’m told it’s going to be another hour plus of a wait after the 30 min I’ve already waited! As I’m checked in on app waitlist I see every other party that checked in after me seated way before me I wait 2 hours more and still no reply on a table! Worst service I’ve seen in years just wanted a nice birthday dinner! Never coming back!

Great ramen in an intimate little restaurant. Go early to skip the crowds.

One of my go-to-ramen spots here in the ‘Burgh. It seems like I’m not the only one… long line and wait times during peak hours and the weekends but otherwise always a dependable ramen spot! Very authentic and good vibes!

Nice, quaint establishment. My sis and I came here for lunch and enjoyed our food. We were first time visitors and the waitress was great! She helped us with our Saké order and answered every question we had with such patience(even in the midst of a heat wave lol!).
Definitely visit here for some good ramen!

Genuinely the worst/ most expensive bite I’ve had in Pittsburgh yet. My meal was incredibly bland to the point that if I made it at home (which I could have easily) I would have been ashamed. When addressing this (politely of course, I’m a server as well) with my server he just took it away without offering anything to make the issue right. Did not offer to comp the meal even though I took a single bite out of it. In all of my years working in the restaurant industry I can’t fathom why you wouldn’t attempt to make the situation right for the customer- especially since it leads to a bad review. Save your time, but especially your money.

I went into Fujiya Ramen with high hopes after hearing it recommended. I was disappointed, the food I found to be uninspiring and overpriced. Will not be going back. Good way to ruin a date :(

Fantastic broth. Not the pedestrian flavor profiles. They really consider how to make their noodles uniquely delicious.

The best ramen place in Pittsburgh, hands down. I was honestly very sad that I didn’t visit sooner, because I’m gonna be a regular customer from now on.

NOT vegan-friendly. The most popular dish Miso Ramen is not available for vegetarians as they said they can’t remove the pork broth.
The vegetarian ramen has egg. I had specified them to remove the egg, yet they served me with one. They were kind enough to replace it with a fresh bowl though. But the flavours were not pronounced, there were no condiments on the table and the portion sizes were smaller than they looked.
My friend enjoyed the flavour of the non-vegetarian option Katsu Curry but also found the portion size small.
Overall, I do not recommend this place for vegans, vegetarians and those seeking to maximise value for money.
