Golden Palace is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in town. It serves delicious Cantonese dishes. The service is prompt, and the waitresses are so nice and kind.
Highly Recommended: Salty Flowing Egg Yolk Bun, Steamed Fish (Bass), Char Siu (Roasted Pork), House Treasure (mixed vegetable and meat), Mushroom and Chicken Clay Pot Rice (the perfect mix of soft and crunchy rice with sweet and savouriness), Fried Pork Intestine (+ Spicy Fried Intestine with Preserved Vegetables), Peking Pork Loin (Sweet and Sour Pork), and the Seafood Pan Fried Noodles. I also love the Steamed Okra, and the Sufu Spinach.
I have never been disappointed at Golden Palace, and I don’t think you will.
This is a great place to go and eat. The buffet has all the things I like. They stock it well and keep everything fresh. I only wish it was available all day like it used to be.
The staff is lovely and very nice.
I've been getting the roast pork here for years and as someone who grew up on cantonese food in NYC. It hit what I needed as someone who was so far from home
$6 Wionton soup with 3 wontons that have little to no meat, all wrapper. $20 chicken and mushrooms dish with 95% rice and chicken cubs that add up to about one piece chicken thigh. Will be my first and last time. Very disappointed
This review is far fetched and I say this because this restaurant has been a favorite of mine for years and although I have not been here for a while I believe it when the reviews show how good they are and I just want to say that, that’s just outstanding family run business and I hope their children are helping keep their business going.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s easy to roll in and out with wheelchairs and strollers

Me and my wife are at Magee hospital and must be here for a while . When I walked in the door, it was straight to the price and then the lady was trying to pick out my food for me at the buffet because they did not have food already so they rushed the chicken lo mein and gave us raw chicken . After we realize that there were a lot of things either super overcooked or super dangerously undercooked. When I tried to call back about it, they tried to pretend like they don’t understand what I’m saying!! Strange to me?? I would not chance it if you have family you don’t want sick .. this is one of those money money hurry hurry places . That will leave the family sick !!

Since the owner / staff asked for a reason for giving a one star for the review, I'll go more in detail to be fair to the business.
I ordered takeout on July 26th, 2024. My order was the BBQ Pork with rice, Seafood Congeee and the Fried Beef Noodle. The main reason for the subpar review had nothing to do with the deliver side of my order or price ( ie. Delivery time / temperature of food).
BBQ Pork with Rice
-the pork was dried and the pieces were the over cooked ends. I know you're going to get some end pieces in the dish, but we are talking about all the pork pieces being dry / end pieces.
Seafood Congee
- the congee consist of a few pieces of squid and diced up beef. No other seafood found in the congee
Fried Beef Noodles
- completely sloggy and the entire dish was one piece of noodle playdoh.
I am only reviewing the quality of the food and not the service because this was a take out order. I just hope the dine-in service makes up for the quality of the food. Weather you are charging $5 a dish or $500, there is no reason for intentionally providing lower end quality ingredients or lack of ingredients. If the owners want to discuss this in private, feel free to leave a time and I'm happy to call to discuss my review with them in English or Cantonese.

Reading the previous reviews made me give this place a try...they didn't have anything the previous reviewers rated on the buffet. The buffet was a little over $14.00 and plus a tip puts you at $17+...do not come here for the buffet is the lesson here...everything was basic, veggie lo-mein, oily plain fried rice, rice noodles, string beans...ect ect. Everything you would find as expected at a buffet. They did have one pretty authentic tomatoes and egg dish I haven't had since I was a kid in Taiwan. Other than that everything else was ok.

Nice place to chill and eat food for cheap. The food isn't awesome but it isn't bad. The service sucks. Mostly just a chill spot to hang out.

The buffet at US$14.45 is well worth it. It’s cheap, has a lot of choices, and tastes much better than the average American Chinese food.

this is a pretty good Chinese food place. I would say the buffet is definitely worth the money but in terms of taste ofc ordering from the menu is better. Not saying that the buffet taste bad just in comparison to ordering u can clearly tell a difference
