I think this place is actually quite underrated! They specialize in Cantonese food, and some of the menu items are truly unique. I have tried a few of their dinners, and everything has been pretty satisfactory. A few days ago, I went and just got a little snack from them.I tried the flowing egg sugar buns. They were actually very tasty as well. Not incredibly sweet, but still very flavorful. Filled with a ton of the sweet paste on the inside. I’ve had this from a few places, and this has been one of my favorite versions. Tons of filling too! Solid portions, okay prices. All in all, I think this place is often overlooked, but it’s quite good! Very solid deal for the portions and unique items. I would recommend it!Vegetarian options: Traditional Cantonese vegetarian meals

Quick and Cute buffet place. Not as big of a buffet as i was expecting, but enough. I went during the lunch hour special and it was honestly a really good price for being an all you can eat. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to grab a quick bite to eat. The food was pretty good, not the best i have had, but still satisfying, hot and fresh. The service was also good and attentive even though it was mostly self service they were still super nice and responsive.

This is a good place for some Cantonese dishes. The char siu combo plate is very generous portion wise. You do have to wait a little for the clay pot so we didn't order it this time. We definitely will next time. The steamed pomfret fish was very tender and yummy. It has a buttery and flakey texture with very few bones. It was steamed perfectly with bean sauce. I will definitely be coming back again. Pittsburgh is a bit limited on good quality Cantonese food but this place is a great find!

Great authentic dim sum. BBQ pork over rice was flavorful and portions were fair. Chicken feet were nice and meaty. Buns were soft and juicy. They misheard one of our orders though.

Came here during our end of summer road trip. Pittsburgh’s Chinese food choices seems a bit limited, but I have had enough amusement park food for the year, so even though the review wasn’t perfect, we still came. While not 5 star quality, it’s a pretty solid and authentic Chinese place, the dim sum portion is a tad on the small side, but it’s also cheaper than the places in the tristate area. The congee, soup, fried noodles are all delicious. The duck is on the drier side, not bad, eel rice is great! We ordered a lot of dishes, and the price is very cheap for what we got, the service was very nice and attentive.Overall, Not a five star restaurant, but it’s the comfort food I needed after many days of road trip and amusement parks.

I've come here pretty often for their buffet. They don't have a huge selection, but they have all the basics (lo mein, crab rangoon, green beans, sesame chicken, etc.). And all of it tastes good and is seasoned well. They also have a student discount for the buffet which is lovely! I've also ordered the meat combo over noodles and it was SO GOOD! The chicken, charsiu, and duck were all so good. The chicken was so soft and juicy. The charsiu was seasoned extremely well and not overly fatty. And the duck was so flavorful and oily in the best way! I know I'll be coming back.

Their duck, pork belly, and char siu were all excellent. Their duck and pork belly had delicious fat, and the char sui had a nice flavor despite being lean. I eat Cantonese food frequently and really enjoy these dishes. Note, some of their other dishes (that we did not order) don't look very good, including their buffet. However, if you get their duck, pork belly, or char siu, you will not be disappointed!

Was looking for a new dim sum option in the city so we popped over to Golden Palace on Sunday. It was pretty empty inside and I wonder if it's cause it's summer for students. The inside did seem pretty updated. We wanted to get a sampler of dim sum items so we opted for the dim sum platter for 4. I wasn't a big fan on the options included and the food wasn't hot which was concerning to me. Next time I think we'll order a la carte and try other items like chicken feet or short ribs. The mini soup dumplings were okay, but I was not a fan of the other ones. However, we did really enjoy the pork and egg congee. It reminded me of congee my grandma would make and the ones in NYC. The char sui was decent, and I would order it again as well. Would definitely recommend trying some congee options and the Cantonese bbq char sui!

There is no buffet on weekends. I asked and said that it is only available in the middle of the week. I personally think the food is salty,The pork intestines are just dry fried and the chicken feet taste pretty
