I ordered a single espresso shot, the Lavender Lizzy cocktail and the breakfast plate.
The ingredients for the Lavender Lizzy cocktail reminded me of a French75 riff however it tasted like a glass of lemon water with color from the butterfly pea tea and there was no glitter.
The espresso shot was cold but strong…
The breakfast plate was ok.
Theres currently construction going on outside of the location so keep that in mind for noise levels and possible critters if you’re seated in their outside area.

We rented the upstairs for a 22 person staff retreat with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. What an amazing day! The space was clean and had plenty of room for small groups or large discussions. The food was delicious and the servers were lovely. And our staff loved the option to grab a fancy latte or alcoholic beverage at the end of the retreat. 10/10!

I’m obviously in the minority but I didn’t love this place. First time visiting. The guy behind the counter was not friendly. Just got a cold vibe when I asked for cream for my coffee.
Ordered avocado toast. The lady that served it was lovely. Very friendly. Just in my opinion, the toast was drown in balsamic as well as the shaker blend of spices or whatever went on top. Just overpowered the toast.
From out of town so not any chance to go back. But I would give it another shot and order something else.
I just had a damn good chicken sandwich here. Highly recommend

Best café in Pittsburgh! Trust me, I’ve been searching for a year now 😅. They offer excellent specialty drinks with actual flavor! These drinks are not just brown water with “flavored syrups” like so many café’s out here. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t regret it.
The food is killer too! Happenstance offers abundant and diverse seating to enjoy their specialty takes on old classics. Stop by and treat yourself. I know I’ll be back—soon!
