I was there to casually grab a drink for Saturday. The moment I step into the door a white lady stared at me, looked up and down for 10 seconds. I was a little uncomfortable at the time. Then the bar tender ask for my id. I didn't bring one because the last 3 time I was here they didn't ask for it (I'm already 24). They insist they can't serve me alcohol that day. I felt I was treated differently because no one else was asked for id. Eventually I left without getting anything.

The pork carnitas were incredible and the crispy chicken sandwich was better than average. They had only two mocktails on the menu. Overall, it was a nice experience but on the pricey side for what it was.

Amazing drinks and staff know what they’re doing. Cute decor. Food is good, but I wouldn’t go just for that. Limited menu. Go for the service, ambiance, and unique and delicious drinks. And their rum menu??? Insanely huge!
P.S. I like that gratuity is already included. Then if I want to round up, I round up or add a $ or two, etc. Tipping is a strange practice in general when you think about it. It’s like asking people to perform for you.

Nice looking place and good enough service, and I get that a Tiki Bar is about atmosphere and vibe and the price is to match, but $20 for these drinks which barely have any liquor in them is just way too much in Pittsburgh. I've paid that much in nicer tiki places in bigger cities and gotten more. I wouldn't necessarily leave a 1 star review, but I realized later that gratuity is automatically added and I had tipped on top of that, making this all worse. Ridiculous and shady business practice to do that, and for that automatically a 1 star review, sorry to say.

Apparently the staff needs to be retrained on identifying IDs. Was told that my ID is fake, the staff offered no explanation and very rudely kicked out my entire group. I am 25 years old and have been served here in the past with no issue. Very disappointed.

This experience was especially concerning given that recent reviews mention poor treatment toward Indian patrons. My group of 7 included friends of mostly Indian and also East Asian descent besides myself, and the abrupt decision to label my valid ID as “fake” felt targeted and inconsistent. After reading other reviews of poor treatment towards Indian guests, my group couldn’t help but wonder if denying my ID was simply a convenient excuse to remove our entire group without having to justify it for any nefarious reasons. If you’re Indian or a person of color, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This place is really cute and the server was really really nice. The automatic 20% gratuity for all checks is a little bizarre. I do love tipping well, but that was pretty weird to feel so forced… The drinks are all served in really really cute ways (so many points for creativity!) but all three drinks that I got a chance to try were kind of terrible. The food was very ok… The only reason I would come back is because the ambience is cool, the people are nice, and the drinks are cute… I would never order another one for myself, but they are cool to look at!

This place was amazing! Wanted to go for my birthday and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The food is a little pricey but is very good and all the extra stuff like the cups and mugs are so unique and cute! The atmosphere was amazing and service was great! And they offer great mocktails which is rare but awesome! Would def go again!

Great drink selection. Wish there was some bigger food selections with as much drinks that we drank, having some good food choices to help soak it up... We ended up going next door for food and coming back for more drinks!

Amazing drinks and atmosphere! We came after dinner with a group of friends to get a drink. The cocktails all come with very special presentation, the menu shows which glass they come with and how strong they are and I even got the small details as a small plastic lizard on my drink !! Staff were super nice and although the place was busy we could get a seat for 6 people. Drinks are in a pricey side ( think of on average $16 ) but in my opinion totally worth the nice presentation and lively vibe ! Great place for a date also as you can for sure have a conversation and it’s not too loud.
The only reason I give 4 ( and only my personal opinion) is adding automatically 20% gratuity to the bills. While I almost always always (!) pay the 20% regardless, I think customers should have the choice to pay less if they found the service not good, or pay a little less then 20% based on their situation. Overall, very cool place and I can’t wait to visit again and try more drinks and foods also this time :)

As a tiki fan this spot was dope to check out. Great food options and a great variety of tiki beverages and even some n/a options. The mugs are sick and the swizzles are so fun, definitely check it out!
