Finally got to go to this place and it is ADORABLE! There is a wonderful variety of seating, not too loud, and decor is cute. I got the Sunny Banh Mi and it was delicious. Great portion size, great cost, great taste.

Unfortunately, the pho leaves so much to be desired. They only had a chicken or vegan option. The portion was so tiny for $17 with tiny pieces of chicken. There was barely any flavor. There are much better pho places in Pittsburgh. The Vietnamese coffee was good.

The atmosphere was not it. I was planning to do some work and spend a few hours there, however, Mid November they were playing Christmas music all day, it was quite annoying. Also, beware when you checkout, they have the tipping preset to 20%. The customer service was not outstanding, the food was quite expensive and I accidentally hit 20% so I was quite perturbed by this.

Unfortunately, my experience here was less than pleasurable.

Severe FOOD POISONING for my friend and I. We ate here on Sunday October 26 around 2pm and ordered chicken banh mi because they were out of pork. On Monday my friend developed symptoms. On Tuesday I developed nearly identical symptoms. For both of us this included severe vomiting and diarrhea lasting until today (Friday), excruciating stomach cramps, and whole-body shivering. The owner should inspect the kitchen to ensure other people do not get sick in the future. My friend and I both ordered the same thing and got extremely similar symptoms within a similar timeline. I would not recommend eating here as I seriously question the food safety practices.

Got married here a few weeks ago! Such a beautiful space for our small wedding - we loved the indoor/outdoor options. Ineffable provided the bar (food came from elsewhere) and they were EXCELLENT - akin to the quality of drink served next door at Unspeakable. Thanks to the Ineffable team for a memorable night.

The Ineffable Events offering that was available the last couple years has shut down (we were the last wedding), but I hope they open up a new way for folks to take advantage of this incredible venue.

unfortunately the service is pretty bad here. usually two girls too busy talking to each other and eating food at the counter, ignoring guests as they come in. felt like i was interrupting when i came in to order. food is alright, but took 20 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches. maybe the baristas could take a break from sitting down and yapping at the register to help the one person actually working in the kitchen! good place to get coffee and do work.

It’s a great spot to get coffee and work done. We used to love the food but have been disappointed as of late. On three consecutive occasions over the last few months, we tried to get lunch around 12-1p and they were either out of nearly all food options or closed. In one instance, another patron had ordered online for pickup and the cafe was completely closed so she couldn’t get her order despite having paid for it. This was inconvenient but we still loved the banh mi so we went for lunch a few days ago and were sad to experience a hoagie roll in place of the delicious baguettes they used to use and are typical for banh mi. The hoagie roll was way too much bread and texture didn’t complement the fillings well at all. They explained this was a quality choice (I suspect it’s to increase margins) but unfortunately I won’t be going there anymore for banh mi as it was simply not good. I’m sure the rice bowls are still delicious.

I tried the chicken bánh mì sandwich here and it was pretty good. Service was friendly and quick. They have plenty of seating options, both outdoor and a spacious indoor area that works well for larger groups too. Parking is available, and the restaurant is attached to the Enson Market, which has reopened. Overall, a nice spot to grab food and hang out!

Alright, I am ready to declare this the best coffee shop in Pittsburgh. The drinks, the atmosphere, the outdoor seating on a summer morning. It's just the perfect combination!

Lovely space; good, affordable food; tasty coffee. Plus, I'm a sucker for thoughtful layouts and I love the intention that seems to have gone into the flow of the cafe--the decor, charging outlets everywhere, the amount and variety of seating, a rental workspace in the corner. Will be back.

This place is a hidden gem! The coffee and Thai iced tea were spot on rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a lovely spot to unwind, sip your drink, or get lost in a good book. A peaceful little escape from the everyday hustle.
