I got the cheesesteak for the first time. I wish Pittsburgh would adopt softer hoagie rolls and the traditional cheeses like white American or Whiz, but this isn’t Philly. Regardless, it was a pretty solid cheesesteak. I kept the other half to take home. Very friendly place with fast service. Parking stinks, but it does for that whole stretch on Beverly. I have never been disappointed at Io Deli.Parking: Good luck!
The food was very good. It seems hard to find a place that has 'deli' food, and this place had it. I'm from NYC, and so I'm obsessed with utilizing space as efficiently as possible, and this deli is loosely set up, which drives the OCD in me crazy.

I was pleasantly surprised as well as impressed with this Deli. Their corned beef is home made… not lunchmeat. Their roast beef is home made… not lunchmeat. The food is EXCELLENT. Their staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is good! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NEIGHBORHOOD TREASURE!
