The garlic bun with cream cheese inside is amazing. Good coffee, nice family run spot, only a few tables but in good weather seating outside too. Worth a visit!

Great place to eat. Food is great without being too salty. Attendant was friendly and helpful. Just one critique, the rug they have is very thin and I’ve tripped on several times. Think it’s time to be replaced

Ka-Fair is located pretty close to the zoo, and hence I stopped here on the way. it is within a residential area by house and hence it is much quieter than some of the other coffee shops located in busy streets. The coffee shop itself is narrow and long with a bench and some high chairs facing the street. The seating is varied with different options suited for both individuals and groups. The decor is eclectic with lot of different pieces, and I couldn’t really identify a theme as such. The selection is very large, and I believe they are known for their dirty chai. I opted for the dirty Macha instead, which was pretty good. They also have some baked goods, and I got the layered crêpe cake, which was very good. The barista was really sweet and welcoming. My favourite thing about the cafe was how peaceful and quiet it was, and how bright it was with light pouring from the front.

A hidden gem in Morningside!! The owner is a really sweet woman who puts her whole heart into the delicious food and drinks that she makes. Ka-fair is a full service coffee shop with tasty lattes, matcha, smoothies, pastries and breakfast foods. Try the egg toast and the seasonal strawberry matcha when you’re here!
