I have been going here for over 40 yeas or so. I grew up with the owners and not only is the Haus the best take out in the city, the owners are great people and represent Morningside, they are one of the cornerstone of ' The corner' I played pinball in the back way back in the 60's so the oven is well seasoned. nostalgiafor me, I get the Italian hogie myself
6 years after my initial review, it hasn’t changed, still THE BEST Italian hoagie I've ever come across. The crisp, chewy bun is what gives their hoagies a kick up on any other hoagie around. I love the place because it is inexpensive but the hoagies are top notch! Been going there for 30+ years.

Amazingly delicious no-frills neighborhood pizza joint. It is a treasure! When you factor price and taste (are there others?), Eddie's has the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Really, it's that good!!! Give it a try. I promise you'll love it.
