Maybe Pittsburgh's best kept secret coffee and tea house (and treat haven)? I haven't yet had a cup of coffee that wasn't amazing, and I'm pretty simple in my tastes - coffee/espresso. I've been assured that the bubble tees are phenomenal as well as all of the Thai tea and coffee options. Also, definitely go here for the cakes! The homemade crepe cake is not too sweet and so beautiful you may not want to eat it. I love all of the seasonal options, and the owner is a delight! They also carry a selection of local baked goods, chocolates and artisan products to buy. If you haven't been, you are missing out!

They staff are so kind, the food is delicious, and their iced lattes are always good.The environment there is super relaxed, and I love talking to the regulars that go (and petting their dogs as well).Absolutely would recommend this place to everyone.

This was by far one of my favorite new finds in Pittsburgh.The selection was variant, which is nice. They have something for everyone.And the lattes were very taste. I had a dirty chai latte and it was something Ive never had before. The owner suggested and it's obvious she knows her products.Speaking of the owner, Amy* was the co-primary reason, the other being the product, I returned so quickly. She was so nice and friendly. And the rest of the staff seemed to be just the same. I left very happy.The cafe itself is very quaint and comfortable. It's definitely a place you can come, relax, have a nice conversation with a friend or do some work if needed.I also recommend the croissant as a nice breakfast treat. Google reviews recommended it as well and I saw why. Very full, flaky and flavorful.Suffice to say, I stopped here a few times during my stay and will most likely be a frequent shopper when in town for years to come.*Note: I'm terrible with names so if it was not Amy, my sincere apologies. I'm pretty confident it was and due to how personable you were, I didn't want to write a review referring to you as just the owner.

When I first moved to Morningside 7 years ago, there was another coffee shop in this location that closed shortly after which was a huge bummer. A few years later, KaFair opened in that same space and since then, I've been a very happy customer of theirs! The shop is small, just a few seats, but the vibe is SO cute in here and the owner is so sweet and friendly. They have a wide selection of coffee and other drinks and every one I've tried has been delicious. And the crepe cake! Wow, truly one of the best desserts I've ever tried. It feels like such a treat to get a slice with a latte. They also sell amazing beans to go, the Morningsider blend is my fave!
I love going to KaFair Cafe when I can! It's a bit of a trek for me, but it's always worth the trip. Their rainbow crepe cake is my favorite way to treat myself - it never disappoints. The crepes are paper-thin and sandwich a light filling. Plus, it comes with a tart raspberry compote topping that complements how sweet the cake is. Other items for munching include quiche, crumpets, toast, and bagels. Their drink menu is varied with specialty coffees, teas, juices, smoothies, bubble teas, and Italian soda. These are listed on their menu board to the right of the countertop and display case, where you are greeted by a friendly face when placing an order. I typically take my order to go, but there is available seating indoors and limited seating outdoors. It's the perfect venue for their monthly board game night with Morningside Area Community Council, which is free to everyone and no pre-registration is required.

This was a find that we was looking for I can't express how happy I am with this cafe!!The owner/barista was so helpful in picking or drinks to also grabbing some great pastries.If you find yourself on morningside definitely stop by and checkout this staple!!We had a special latte that was on and the Dirty Chai Latte and the dirty chai is a top 3 of all time for me so it is a must try in my opinion The Honey corn cake is also a must try the sweetness of it will want you to get the whole cakeThe one thing that is always a must for me is the ambiance of a coffee shop it needs to be a place where people can converse and just feel at home and Ka Fair is all of that and then some.
