My wife and I are both East Coast people (she's from NY, I'm from Philly) who are picky about pizza, so when we saw this place open in this space in our neighborhood, we walked Uptown and gave it a try. We loved the simple, no-frills menu, the way it should be, focused mainly on NY-style pizza with basic, no-nonsense toppings, though they make a very nice, simple Sicilian as well.

The crust is amazing -- somebody there knows how to make the dough the right way. It's the right kind of chewy and the slices fold without breaking (this is really important). The sauce is simple and tasty. We agreed that it reminded us of being back home.

All in all, this was a refreshing experience of simple, good pizzeria dining without the bloated menu of 50 things that are not done well. My wife and I both agree that this place is well-named. It's the truth

This is definitely a New York pizza soo delicious. The sauce does not bother my stomach definitely 100% Italian all over. This is a must try if you haven’t already! Yum!!

The food here is fantastic!! From the crust, to the sauce, to the toppings, it’s out of this world!! Best New York style pizza I have ever had. I highly recommend eating here!! Blows other competitors away!! It’s now one of my favorite places. If you haven’t tried it, you MUST! 😋

I stopped by visiting my home town in mt Lebanon I had to see the new pizza place uptown and it was amazing the pizza was great the service was fast and very nice I highly recommend them to everyone in the area come stop by
