ordered from doordash, our dasher called to tell us that the store gave our order to someone else and refused to remake it, claiming our order is on our way to us— while we talked to the store via the door dasher giving them their phone… now how could someone be bringing us our food if we’re talking to the store via the driver that’s there to get our order??? then wanted us to place ANOTHER order so they’d remake it— so, pay twice for an order? when we never got it in the first place. weird & scammy.

I ordered takeout from Layne's around 5:30PM on a Monday evening. Honestly, I didn't want to cook after a busy weekend. I ordered five meals: three three-finger baskets and two four-finger baskets. My son and I were able to park on Forbes right in front of Layne's, walk in with no wait. There were two employees working, and they immediately asked to help and serve us. The young lady also helped me use my Astro points (because I couldn't figure it out on the app). Our food was prepared and served quickly and everything was hot and fresh. My family LOVED our Monday night dinner from Layne's-- especially the Layne's sauce and crinkle fries! This quick dinner was a great idea! Thank you, Layne's!

Overall ok experience, there wasn't any AC during the summer and I definitely think Cane's have better food quality and environment in general, and it's down the street!

Customer .
Can’t say much about it cuz it’s like a takeout restaurant. But the cashier was really nice.

Lots of decorations. But the lighting was lowkey a bit brown.

.
Lowkey not as good as canes. The sauce wasn’t very great, and the fries were giving underground fries and were not seasoned at all. Toast and chicken fingers is alright.

.
No wow factor. Normal restaurant

First of all let me just say that the staff here is super friendly! I was actually blown away by how nice and accommodating they were!
I’m a mom and chicken fingers is always an easy meal with kids while we are out!
This was no exception. They girls loved their chicken!
I was a little sad they were out of their wraps, and was hesitant about their chicken finger sandwich but yall, it was GAME changer with the jalapeño ranch!
It was definitely a win for the whole family!
There is tables inside to eat at as well as bar table in front of the windows, so perfect if you are eating alone or with your family or friends!
