So I ordered ahead and still waited over 20 mins, I was standing there wAtching people come and go and had to say something because they served everyone that came in and ordered after me first. The guy was screaming in a megaphone and screamed right in my face after I asked him if my food was ready yet. No I wasn't rude, I work in food service and was genuinely just trying not to miss my bus home (I did miss it) the food was cold when I finally did get it, it was honestly a terrible experience all around and I probably won't ever go to a laynes location again.

A nice rival to the classic chicken finger joint that will not be named. I actually really enjoyed their food. Pretty decently seasoned, reasonable prices, and really nice sauces. I got to try their chicken finger sandwich and the laynes sauce.

The chicken was well cooked and breaded well too. Not a ton of spice but still flavorful. The sauces are what really made it delicious. Both the ranch and the laynes sauce were really good. Creamy, decent portion, and the Laynes sauce had a tad of spice to it.

All in all, I definitely recommend it for a quick and cheap bite. Nice chicken spot.

Layne’s came before Cane’s. No really. Google it.

Besides the point. Both are terribly mid. I always tell my friends that Cane’s is an acceptable mid. Laynes is a barely acceptable mid. Their silver lining is the spicy tenders which don’t live up to the name. Toast was nothing to take home. Regular tenders were meh. Without the sauce, there would’ve been a problem.

Very average and overpriced chicken. Nothing else to say.

Ordered on a Tuesday at 9:25PM. I used UberEats...

Here is what I ordered:
5 finger meal, large Coke, extra side of crinkle cut fries, and one extra side of Layne's sauce.

Here's what I received:
5 dried out not fresh chicken fingers, a Diet Coke, and two sides of sauce. So I was missing the extra side of fries and the extra sauce that I paid for. There was no straw and also no napkins. The overall experience is only 2 stars because it was quicker than promised. The food itself was a total bust. I'm a chef at a local restaurant. If I sent food like this out to paying customers, I'd expect to be looking for work real soon. I'm very disappointed because I heard good things about this place.

One of the best halal places on Pitt campus. So yum like actually.... yum yum yum. The servings are sizeable and its not toooo pricey either. The Layne's sauce is also peak af icl it reminds me of Cane's but with real seasoning 💯

I recently checked out this spot for chicken fingers, and overall, it was a decent experience. The food was alright not bad, but nothing that really stood out either. The chicken fingers were cooked well and had a nice crunch, but the flavor was pretty standard. The sauces were okay, but I was hoping for something a little more unique or bold. It’s the kind of place you’d go to if you’re craving something familiar and simple, but not necessarily if you’re looking to be wowed. Worth a try if you’re nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The cashier was very irritated and got upset because they heard me wrong. Then got even more annoyed because the pop ran out of flavoring . The food was ok and fresh but customer service alone will stop me from returning . O and 1 sauce for 4 tenders AND fries is absolutely cheap and ridiculous.

I didn’t even eat here but two employees standing at the entrance to the restaurant smoking a joint is not very appealing for customers. They were dumb enough to be wearing their shirts.

Based Tendies Connect
I like to order a crispy chicken wrap, and then pour honey mustard in it.
Oh, you gotta order the spicy tendies so that the flavors all hit juuuuust right.
Promise it's the truth ;)
