The food was very yummy. I like how I can choose as much or as little as I want in a bowl, and this place offers so many great and authentic options. It was my first time there, so I asked a few questions, and the lady was patient with me. When my mala hotpot was served, the bowl immediately caught my attention. It was designed around Chinese traditional theatrical elements, and I found it a cute way to learn about the culture. I will definitely visit this place again.
This is a self-service Souping joint. Choose the ingredients and the soup base, weigh-and-pay. It’s a chance to have as much (or as little) proteins and/or noodles one wants.This place has indeed lots of potential to be an outstanding Souping joint???. The soup base choices are certainly flavorful. The variety of soup ingredients is commendable.However, many of ingredients are frozen, pre-processed items. This is a traditional ma la soup or stir-fry place with self-select ingredients. I think the price is ok, while you can buy them and DIY at home yourself and much cheaper. But then don’t come here.
