We had a tomahawk and it was amazing. Our server Richard was fantastic and we loved our experience here. We will definitely be back!
Finding parking can be very difficult if there are shows occurring in the area, but the food & service are worth it.
We sat at the bar for a quick bite. Service was prompt and friendly. There seemed to be plenty of options, but we only had time for an appetizer and got the carpaccio which had some excellent Asian vibes, I only wish I had a small bowl of pho broth or something to go with it. Drinks were creative and tasty.
Tried and true. This is a staple of a guaranteed 10/10 dining experience each visit. Our special occasion was my daughters Birthday.
Decent food. Nothing special. Nice liquor and cocktail selections. Service was outstanding.
Food was great. I had the tuna tartare which was delicious. I also had the Sgt Pepper Manhattan which was a creative twist on a regular Manhattan.
One of the best restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh by far!!
My wife and I dined at Meat & Potatoes on Saturday night, April 19th. We started with a Tom Collins for each of us and I will say that the Tom Collins at Meat & Potatoes is the best in the Burgh. For a starter, we shared the roasted bone marrow which was delicious...mostly due to the raisin caper chutney topping and the awesome sourdough bread accompaniment. For our entree, we opted for the beef Wellington. It was amazing!! The beef was a perfect medium rare, surrounded by a layer of fresh herbs and baked in a perfectly done pastry crust. The 1st Duke of Wellington would be impressed! Even the potatoes and candied carrots on the side were delicious. Thanks to all for a great dinner and a memorable night out
Almost everything was phenomenal! Justin was our server and he was great, attentive and knowledgeable (which was very important to me since I have allergies). His service was quick and he problem solved on the spot without even thinking and offered suggestions. He was friendly and interacted with us very well. The pricing for my Half Chicken was a bit high. The flavor was great but the price was exaggerated. And the 3% service charge, which I assume is because of the new tariffs put in place by our horrible government, is understandable but still sucks as it could be taken out on your service staff (we didnt). It would have been nive to be told about it before we ordered just like you would have if you auto gratuity a table.
Love this place!! It's one of our regular places to eat.

We were disappointed there were no specials on a Friday night. That doesn't seem competitive with other top restaurants. Service didn't ask us if we were celebrating- which they have in years past, as this is our regular anniversary place. Pate was served ice cold and congealed. Some Mussels hadn't completely opened- so they weren't done...filet was veined and felt cheap, falling apart instead of a lean, firm cut. A bit disappointing, overall.
Our service was great, but it was very busy and quite noisy. The potatoes soup was simply very loose mashed potatoes and served warm, not hot. The steak was good but not worth $65.00. the creamed spinach was very good. It appeared that they have worked harder at being unique rather than excellent.
Waited nearly an hour for our food to come out, and once we had it, it was way too salty.
Ordered the tomahawk for two and French fries. The French fries were very thin and crunchy which I love.
Caesar salad was decent.
Loved it! Food was excellent
This place is a must visit while in Pittsburgh. Don't miss it!
