I have often loved Morcilla. Our dinner last night was pretty good, not spectacular. Nothing terrible happened, but the oyster mushrooms were sort of uninteresting, the octopus was a bit tough and hard to cut through. Don't miss understand me -- it's was good, service was lovely and the space is cozy, but just felt like maybe the kitchen was a bit off their game / phoning it in.
We tried almost everything on the menu. It was fantastic from the onset of the housemaid sangria to the warm bread, olives, and yummy olive oil all the way through to the octopus and delicious churros for dessert. We had a great time.
Morcilla is our go-to when we want excellent food and exceptional service! I feel like the staff goes out of their way to make every person feel welcome, comfortable, and special. We are never disappointed!
