Nancettas Ristorante

What an amazing find tucked away in Fox Chapel. We enjoyed it so much, we went for a second time after only 10 days. The appetizers are awesome and the pasta dishes will keep us returning for more. 5 stars for the individual personal attention by owners and staff. Thank you, Nancy and Paul.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The best veal dishes we have had in Pittsburgh. The owners were friendly and attentive. Real Italian from an Italian. We will definitely return and bring friends!

The atmosphere is quaint and cozy with a lovey outdoor eating area. Our meals were excellent, homemade authentic Italian food. We look forward to our next visit.

Excellent service and really nice atmosphere. While i am not a fan of restaurants who add a lot of salt to their entrees, they could have made the meal more flavorful.

We loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, all made fresh, nothing frozen. Our waiter, Paul, was the absolute best. We could not have asked for better food or a better waiter.

I love to go to Nancetta's where one is not rushed. My food was good. The salads were great. Risotto balls magnificent. For me, the pasta was great. I ordered a pork chop. It was really good but the smell was offensive to our table. It had to be some kind of seasoning. Our friends did not enjoy their food because of this odor and felt the ambiance was worth it but the food was not. Sorry. Our waiter Paul was excellent and very busy. I would still go back.

Authentic Italian Food. The owners a charming couple clearly with a passion for excellence. The menu was diverse and that made it difficult to choose. Highly recommended.

Do not waste your time. It wasn’t the server’s fault- most likely the kitchen’s. Took about 15 minutes for a drink to come. We waited 45 minutes, still no appetizer! Had to ask multiple times for bread and Ms.Girl brought us 4 pieces of raw bread. She also didn’t come check on us once we got drinks. I felt terrible leaving but no reason to be waiting 45+ minutes for an appetizer with three other tables in the restaurant. If you read the other reviews, the restaurant responds nasty to unsatisfied customers.
It just was not a great experience. We paid for our wine and left.
