Hi Sheila aka uma! It was excellent.
Love Sue and George
Went for NYE. Knew there was a fixed menu but they couldn’t tell us what it was. Never posted online, never returned emails asking for info. They were out of multiple entrees. Husband wasted $83 for an a veal chop too gross to eat. One of 10 in our group liked their entree. Pics of mine here. How can you serve lettuce like this?? I’m picking out the least brown to eat? Way overpriced a la carte that wasn’t good quality meals. We had high expectations based on friends and online reviews. The chef/owner was apologetic enough, with gift cards we will never use. Hopefully they can get it together, seemed like it could be a nice restaurant.

Absolutely amazing!! Nancy and Paul go above and beyond to make the food and experience amazing. The pasta and gnocchi are home made and melt in your mouth. The portions are on the smaller side but that gives you the option to just try more things! The restaurant is small and romantic and easy parking.
Went here for a birthday dinner. Not only was our waitress Shela fantastic, personable, and knowledgeable she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was outstanding. You can really tell everything is made in house and crafted with care. Not one person in our party needed a takeout box as every plate was scraped clean. While drinks are available - we did bring our own bottles and they were put on ice immediately while glasses were set down in front of us. Will be coming back for sure!

We had a small group - 5 people - here for NYE and all were really disappointed. Our group Had high expectations based on the regular menu and other reviews. First, it was not advertised there was a special menu for New Year's....even when speaking with the restaurant directly over the phone. Second, the restaurant was out of three of the special six selections by 6:00pm. Lastly, they were also out of one of the two sides. Probably won't go back to try the foods we actually wanted.

Nancetta’s KNOCKED it out of the park for our date night. Sheila was our sever who was nothing short of attentive, sweet and knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. We got the Salsiccia pasta and the homemade papperdelle in a white caper sauce with fennel and raisins…I mean, wow. You can’t find anything like this around Fox Chapel. and you can really tell that this food is made from scratch. I am so glad we found this place and we will be back!

This place is a real gem. It is small and quiet but with lots of good food choices. It is not cheap but below the pricey places on Mt. Washington or Downtown. Our group had three different dishes and all were excellent; the pasta is homemade. House wines were fine too. Service was personal and efficient. We will definitely go again and highly recommend it.
The place was a disaster. The greens were literally rotten, the portions were tiny and almost insulting, and every single dish tasted like someone gave up halfway through cooking. Nothing was fresh, nothing was good, nothing was worth the money.
