Nancettas Ristorante

This was our second time here. We had a pleasant experience the last time . This time it just seemed a little chaotic. The servers are very nice but are really slow. This place does not have a drink menu. The claim to have a full bar but when you ask for something they say they don't know how to make it. We saw a few other tables not liking their drinks because they weren't made properly. I know the food is made from scratch and it is good but with no drink menu, service being a tad slow and lacking the training to do their jobs you just feel like they are constantly playing catch up. The place has no decor it's very plain.

We haven't been there in a long time, and this time was very different and good. We'll be back!

We had a tremendous dinner experience! The food was amazing, our waitress was on point. The drinks were delicious and the dessert gelato was some of the best I've ever had!

Excellent meals, friendly server and chef. Be willing to wait for your dinner because everything is made to order so it does take time to receive your meal.

Excellent food and excellent service. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. The only downside was being sold wine that was more expensive than described and the tiramisu was just ok.

This Italian restaurant has so much going for it, starting with its extremely personable owner and his wife who really care about the food they serve and its quality. We had the swordfish, scallops, spots and fettuccine Alfredo with perfectly cooked steak. Amazing is an understatement; the food was presented beautifully, smelled fresh and tasted phenomenal. The staff was attentive without being intrusive and were very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. This place deserves at least 5 or 10 visits if not many more to try each of the different plates.

What an amazing find tucked away in Fox Chapel. We enjoyed it so much, we went for a second time after only 10 days. The appetizers are awesome and the pasta dishes will keep us returning for more. 5 stars for the individual personal attention by owners and staff. Thank you, Nancy and Paul.

Very good experience. All the employees of the restaurant were kind and knowledgeable. The chef and owner came and spoke to our table and was enthusiastic to talk to us about the menu and his experience with food. The food was also great and some of the best Italian food I have had.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The best veal dishes we have had in Pittsburgh. The owners were friendly and attentive. Real Italian from an Italian. We will definitely return and bring friends!
