DELICIOUS!! What a great find! Came during Friday lunch time and they were not crowded. Tried their unique Shroomy Sauce (more a dry sauce than wet sauce) and dry lemon pepper full-size wings (a tad salty) but served piping hot! Nick’s on Hilltop is a hidden gem in the Mt Oliver area. The ambiance is aesthetically pleasing and the decor is beautiful, with super nice wooden tables, chairs and bookshelves that hold a great assortment of books. The walls display artwork and an impressive selection of books that are free to borrow, giving the place a community oriented vibe. Food is always tasty; dishes such as chicken salad, cheesesteak fries and cheesesteak sandwich are delicious and the portions are huge for the price. The service is great, attentive and conversational, though it sometimes took awhile before being served. Staff are hospitable, knowledgeable and infectious in attitude, and the owners are kind and compassionate about pleasing guests. DJ hosts events and wing night weekday specials add extra excitement. The bar offers shots and the owner is a great guy who creates best random experiences. The vibe is low‑key, luxurious and clean, with a great atmosphere and vibes great. It is well worth every single penny and will likely become super popular.
