Very low key bar right off rt.8 n rt. 28. It's not the best of looking bars you may not even notice it passing by. That's what makes it special. Relaxed vibe with very outgoing patrons who make everyone feel welcome. Garuntee you will have a nice time. The drinks are hooked up here. Good prices and alot a bang for your buck.

I overshot my bus stop in Millvale because I can't see at night and usually don't go out after dark. The #1 Freeport bus did not have the sound system that announces stops connected which was strange to start with. It was the last bus outbound from downtown. August 30th 2018, by the way. The driver told me to be careful when I got out in Etna at Midnight. I should have gone on to Sharpsburg but that was even farther away and I had to take a cab back to Millvale. My money was short. I walked down the main street and passed a Tavern that was closed. I walked on down to this hole in the wall and went in. My cellphone battery was dead so I ask a woman in there to please call a cab for me. She called somebody she knew who told her he was home drunk. Ok, I said, call Yellow cab please! She was goofing off on her phone and chatting to everybody . The barmaid came to take my order after she tended to a video poker machine first. I ordered a screwdriver and she looked at me like I was speaking another language. She did understand vodka and orange juice. The glass was served three fourths vodka and tasted awful. I was so uncomfortable in there I had high anxiety. I asked several people in there if they would take me to Millvale for 15.00 and apparently nobody that goes in that awful place has a car. The customers were weird, in my opinion. A black couple came in and went to the beer cooler. I was at the other end of the bar by the door so I could not hear what the man may have said to that barmaid. The barmaid was screaming profane language at the couple to leave there. The lady was speaking to a customer there and neither of the couple she was trying to bounce appeared intoxicated. "He has no money get the $@*^ out!" "He disrespected me" was her answer to me when I asked what he said to her. The woman must have had money for she was looking in the cooler and the barmaid loudly told her "don't even look, leave...NOW. I waited for that zTrip car for what seemed like half an eternity but was really only about twenty minutes. I finished my drink and the loud mouth behind the bar came to ask if I wanted another. NO, I did NOT. I don't drink but very seldom and then never much. I half expected her to tell ME to get the F(%& out next, since I was not about to spend any more money. Instead, she said I was welcome to wait inside for the cab. I got up and headed outside. I was more comfortable on the street than in Nooche's. The girl who called the zTrip came outside to stand with me. God Bless her. She called for an update on the car when she saw I left the barroom. I had asked her earlier, inside the joint, to drive me and she said she wasn't trying to drive right then. Yet she and some Chooch in there were discussing how they both needed to find a job. There was a job for her right under her nose but she didn't want to be bothered with the phone call, much less driving me home. I told that barmaid that I was very uncomfortable in there. She informed me that you will have that sort of drama sometimes."Yeah, it happens" agreed the lady who called for my ride. Not in the places I go!!!!
