The Original Pancake House

Not exactly the best service but I have a older family that is very needy . The food was cooked to perfection as usual . The atmosphere is good but seems dry . I know for sure it’s a place for older folks to eat in the morning so I still gave it 4 stars . My overall experience was 5 stars . My family goes a few times a year & we go with 15+ every time . We’ll be back for sure .

Good very good and portions are substantial. Orange juice good but know that it had massive amounts of pulp in it so don’t order if that’s not your taste. Bacon slices are large and very crisp (almost would be better if a bit less crisp). Service Ok. Never had a bad server but they do seem busy and like the staff numbers are down.

Only negative is getting out of the lot and turning left as it tends to back up and the light does not change quickly.

Food is always good here. Can't go wrong with a good breakfast. A must stop.

Lots of excellent and unique breakfast selections, but you still can't beat one of their breakfast specials, or that awesome thick-cut bacon and a regular waffle seen in my photo!

The original pancake house is one of the few reliable breakfast places I found in the area. Normally the staff is friendly. I only had one issue when I ordered potato pancakes and they were burned when I asked for them just to be crispy. I had to send them back and there was definitely an unhappy person when I did so. I guess I didn’t figure when I ordered crispy I’d get burned. But of course that could be my fault. I still go back probably once every three or four months.

In Pittsburgh, I ordered eggs, a pancake, and grits. It tasted quite good. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to eat breakfast

One of the best servers. Joked about having no money and having my 4 year old do dishes to pay for our meal. Not only did our server play along but she had other employees join in on the fun. My son laughed and loved how nice all your employees were.

Great service, delicious food... I had 2 friends (a week apart) come visit and each time I had breakfast here....we were not rushed out...so my visits were outstanding and we were made welcome. So clean, so welcoming and so delicious!

I’m always on the lookout for good gluten free pancakes and Original Pancake House has some pretty good ones. I had the breakfast special, scrambled egg, bacon and 2 gluten free pancakes, which were very large and a nice texture. My wife had the sausage and eggs on rye toast, which she said was good (but nothing special). My rating is mostly for the gluten free pancakes, for which good ones are hard to find.
