I read some good reviews about this place, so I stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a Monday. The folks working there were GREAT! Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. All this girl wanted was a chef salad. Do you know how hard it is to find a chef salad in the south hills?? That's what landed me at The Other Place. We pulled up and placed our order and waited in the car--no place to have a seat and wait here--so ordering ahead would have been better. (But we had been engaged in the married "what do you want to eat?" discussion in the ride home in the car, so our planning was not awesome.)
