I read some good reviews about this place, so I stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a Monday. The folks working there were GREAT! Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. I ordered their Nashville Hot tenders and they were AMAZING! The breading was very light and flavorful and the dry Nashville Hot seasoning was spicy… very tasty!!I also got their Deluxe Italian sub, half size and it was excellent! Very fresh ingredients and the sub came together great… Very Nice!!This place is carry-out only, but they do deliver and they do prepare food rather quickly. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely return!!

All this girl wanted was a chef salad. Do you know how hard it is to find a chef salad in the south hills?? That's what landed me at The Other Place. We pulled up and placed our order and waited in the car--no place to have a seat and wait here--so ordering ahead would have been better. (But we had been engaged in the married "what do you want to eat?" discussion in the ride home in the car, so our planning was not awesome.) The wait was short (shorter than estimated) and the guys inside were friendly. Husband's hoagie was good, but skimpier than my very meaty/cheesy chef salad. Salad was A+, loaded with "stuff" and the dressing was fresh and nice and cold. (Seemed like a T. Marzetti type bleu cheese.) Salad was huge and definitely big enough for two meals, and it was a mix of fresh, crispy greens (not just iceberg), with no surprise rotten pieces under the unhealthier parts of the salad. If I'm having another salad craving, this would be a good place to return.

Started off rough they were busy and our delivery was going on 2 hours late (never happens normally) and my grandparents I and called a few times. after what I would call a not polite reaction to the delivery driver by our company (not deserved just frustrations) the owner called back explained the mishap they had on their end and expressed never wanting to lose a customer. The same driver came up and upon apologizing, he completely understood and even said he might have the same reaction when a delivery is that late you your hungry.I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THEIR CUSTIMER SERVICE ON ALL LEVELS. They were so honest and understanding it is absolutely amazing. Even with being confronted with customer frustration they still treated my grandparents so polite and when I got the call with how they handled the situation I was so grateful. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Excellent lasagna trays for parties or holidays! I highly recommend trying this for your next get together! Order in advance (2days I think) and you will be good to go! Great sauce and lots of layers - very hearty !

Good food, what I ordered (always complicated?), ready on time, and great people. Ya know, people really make a diffence in the experience of food. For example, there is a place a couple miles away by my dad's place, that does a little different kind of crust that I always loved at first bite - but the people are so awful that the pizza itself leaves a lingering bad aftertaste and I can't stand the smell in my house the next day. I thought it was something wrong with me. But I'm helping a relative just up the street & needed to buy food for my work crew. I really enjoyed the interaction with the staff, and was surprized to find myself noshing on one of my 2 leftover peices on the way home instead of giving it to my buddy (sorry, dude). Then I ate the other for breakfast. (Not sorry.) I think maybe unpleasant people don't mind cutting corners and probably use some nasty fake butter oil you wouldn't feed an animal. These folks are as true and fresh as the ingredients in their pizza. Great job!

We were turned onto your place, when one of your employees (Matt F) was standing in my lobby when I was on the phone with the owner of another facility, over multiple issues with their food and service.Yesterday, I ordered the absolute best fish sandwich I've eaten in my 50 years alive.I shared part of it with co-workers, because it was so large. Everyone raved about it. So, we ordered again today. My employees exact words....."Why have we never ordered from there before?"We ordered the meatball with provolone sandwiches, which were absolutely awesome.Beyond the food, the folks on the phone are personable and act professional.
