This is my second time there and hands down some of the best Caribbean food I've tasted in Pittsburgh. I will definitely be returning. I got the jerk chicken and it was just the right amount of spice and the oxtail was excellent as well

The food is delicious, especially the plantains. There's a nice variety. And the black eyed peas colored my rice and chicken a light purple! The woman at the counter was helpful as well. There are only 2 small tables and a small standing area, so I didn't end up ordering the shrimp I wanted because it wasn't going to be a comfortable place to wait with my child 20+ minutes for them to cook that dish, but otherwise I really like this restaurant.

I ordered the oxtail with sides of mac & cheese and plantains. The food was on the pricier side of what I expected but it was well worth the cost. The oxtail was cooked to perfection in lovely sauce and was fall-off-the-bone tender. The plantains and mac & cheese were delicious. I would order from here again; I highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing food at a good price. My partner and I especially liked the oxtail, pepper steak, cabbage, and rice&peas. Highly recommend.

The food was food but the shop needed so much deserved upgrade. Seated at one of the two small table to have lunch I realized that they do alot of takeout orders. Again the food was a reminder of home cooking

The jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and beans is by far my favorite meal in the city. Order it at least once a week. Don't sleep on the beef patties either. I've been wanting to try something different but I can't stop getting the jerk chicken.

It’s been years since I’ve had good Jamaican food. I started with the more simple dishes because of those are amazing then I know the rest will be. Great portion size, amazing flavor, just the right amount of heat… and my personal favorite, the cabbage 🤌🏽

The food is ok but kinda expensive for what it is. Also I order an item and paid for it but never got it. Called and was told I’d be refunded. Never happened so went back a week later and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.

Me and my wife came in today jan 4th to try it out fr first time, upon arrival there was no greeting we didn't feel welcomed there. The signs says white meat 3$ extra they young ladie said it wasn't no white meat at all just thighs and legs we both ordered they curry chicken , Mac and cheese , she had white rice I had r&p's also her coco bread was hard on the bottom and dry on top the chicken was like we could've made it ourselves rice was very dry. Not really no gravy on the meal m&c had queso or wateva cheese and peppers it was in it I'm disappointed we read they was good so we said ok cool let's try we from cumberland we drove out to see wat the hype was . It just feels like money wasted and poor service . We are really hurt about that 2 small drumsticks and a piece of thigh 😢 REALLYYYY WOWWW.

Great to have this option in Pittsburgh as there are not many West Indian spots here. The rice and peas are great, as are the Mac and cheese and the cabbage. The curry chicken is also very good. We've had the oxtail a few times, and they are usually pretty tough, not 'fall off the bone' as would be expected of oxtail. The prices are also quite high for take-out in Pittsburgh, but on par with similar West Indian spots on the East Coast.
