I am a frequent visitor to Peter Allen's restaurant. I have been for years and the service, food, atmosphere and entire dining experience is always beyond wonderful.
It looks so fancy from the window but once you walk in you'll find that you are treated like family. The hostess and bartender were so welcoming and gave us the utmost attention!
Special shout to our server, for great service and attitude even though she probably wanted to be on her way out. Will definitely plan to return for a more leisurely paced meal.
The food was great, but the service and the atmosphere made everything taste even better.
My coworker and lonely recently discovered but love this place - food is excellent and staff is wonderful
After the customary warm and friendly greeting we experienced the usual excellent food and appropriately attentive service.
Very prompt and friendly. Nicely done. Will be back.
The staff, especially our hostess and waitress, Ashley, were amazing! Food tasted great, selection was perfect. Not sure if they had a busy night, but an Italian restaurant running out of spaghetti and mashed potatoes was very surprising! Aside from the couple set backs, ot eas awesome. Would recommend to anyone.
I came to this establishment with my girlfriend and her family for her 20th birthday, and a reservation was made 2 weeks ahead of time for 6pm. We came on a Sunday and they close at 7. The second we walked in and were seated, I already got the vibe that they were trying to rush us out of here. The table was poorly set, obviously rushed. Our meal concluded of 3 steaks, stuffed shrimp, and the chicken Alfredo. Every single steak was horribly cooked and not even close to the way we asked it to be cooked. The chicken alfredo was comparable to a microwaveable dinner, and the stuffed shrimp did not have the garlic butter it was supposed to come with. On top of that, the waitress was inconsiderate. Our appetizer plates sat on the table pretty much the entire dinner. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone. This is definitely not fine dining like it’s portrayed.
The food was great, but....... There wre only three of us and we came at 5 pm so we would have plenty of time to eat and then see Hamilton! For only three of us and early, so the place was very empty.

Excellent food and great atmosphere
While the exterior looked very fancy, I have never felt more welcomed at a downtown restaurant. Our bartender was attentive both with his drink suggestions and friendly interactions.
Before we went to the restaurant, I read the reviews and noticed that this place had a large amount of 1 star and 2 star reviews. I didn’t expect the reviews to be so accurate.
Food was great. I got the New York Strip and it was delicious. Will return.
The Food was delicious, I got the lobster ravioli which the sauce was very good. My husband got the Scottish Salmon. We ask if the salmon was wild caught or farm raised and they said wild caught. I'm pretty sure it was farm raised the salmon was light and had the wavy light lines. He couldn't get mashed potatoes with his meal because the chef didn't make any because they did not planned of being busy. We were 1 of 2 tables there but we were offered a baked potato so I don't understand why mashed potatoes could have not been prepared. Bryan was the bartender he was nice but served our drinks in dirty glasses and I had to ask for cleaner silverware. We spent $140 for the quantity and quality of the food does not match the price to be considered fine dining. My biggest problem was the staff that sat and stood at the corner of the bar that was irritating since we could hear their conversations. Its was about 3 people and the manager talking away while the restaurant could of being cleaned better. The bathroom remind you of a truck stop and not the nice one either.
