I called to place an order for pickup, women said we have everything ready to go, so just come on in. When I arrived 10 mins later, they didn't have baby back ribs, just St., Louis. Ordered half slab, a pulled chicken sand., mac/cheese, potato salad, cinnamon apples, two cream sodas, total $42.78. The best part of the meal was the cream soda. The ribs were not cooked all the way through and dry, apples turning brown, dry pulled chicken with a small day old bun, mac/cheese was hard/dry. The overall experience was just God Awful. From lying over the phone regarding what was available, to a general in-person bad attitude, I'd say stay away. How they garner a good rep., is beyond me. Some of the worst food and service I've experienced anywhere. The owners should be ashamed.
A treasure in Pittsburgh to visit!!! Some great barbecue and very caring staff! Definitely worth a visit
Closing at 7 is wild. A lot of people aren’t even done getting cleaned off from work by the time you are closed. Foods good though. Oh well. Rowdy here I come
Small country store type of feel. Good meats, good sides. Could use a bit more smoke flavor in my opinion. Friendly owner or staff. Very nice local small town feel but just outside of Pittsburgh. Not an indoor dining type of place, grab and go or some seating on the porch unless there was an area I didn’t see. If you are at one of the hotels nearby, it’s a great place to walk to and take back to the hotel.
The food was decent and the service was great! The brisket was really good. The greens were a bit salty and the pork was on the dry side but had a solid flavor.
I got my wedding food catered from here and their catering service is absolutely amazing! The food was hot and delicious and the servers came early. The coordinator Judy, was super thorough. She came out the Thursday before my wedding which was Saturday and then on Saturday I had asked her to be there at 11:00 a.m. and she came at 8:30! What a rockstar! Everyone at the wedding raved about the food. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who wants a stress-free catering experience!

Would have loved to try it. Showed up at 3:30pm on a Friday, they were closed. Their posted hours are identical to the ones Google has for them
Went before closing and the guys were so helpful.

I have been a patron of this establishment for approximately 10 years. Prior to covid, the ribs were meaty and tender and juicy. Lately, they are wrapped in plastic wrap already when you arrive, they are smaller, dried out a bit, they do not taste the same - and they are just not the same quality. I like the people that work there and I’m not sure what establishment will replace PGH BBQ when I want ribs but… If they can’t get back to their roots, I’m gonna have to move on.

Staff was awesome
It was convenient to my hotel, great surprise. Food was great, staff was polite & friendly. Just a place stuck in the back putting out BBQ. Collars and Mac & Cheese sides where great.

The food is excellent
The service is disastrous
The girl at reception is inadequate, lacks customer service skills.
This is unfortunate because it makes our experience less enjoyable.

No inside seating. The barbeque is great. They have two picnic tables outside only to eat at or you can take it home.
