I've been eating this puzza for 30 years I was glad to see it stayed in the hands of local people. Dan and Mike Brennan have done a fantastic job with the whole layout the building the service and the pizza and hoagie have never been better. If you like basic great tasting pizza Pizza Italia is the place to go.

They have a few slice available when I went to. The owner is super nice- he added more fresh cheese and pepperoni on the slices we ordered. If you come on a warm day, they open the front window with a few open air seating options! Will definitely be back

Well, it’s lent and so I was looking for somewhere with good fish sandwiches. I used to get them from Donatelli‘s in Bloomfield and Neids in Lawrenceville and they’re both closed so I didn’t know where to go. I was driving down liberty Avenue and saw Pizza Italia and I was like I’ll give it a shot. Im so glad I did, OH it was DELICIOUS!! It was crispy on the outside and so fresh and tender on the inside. It was just so perfect. It hit the spot. Their fish sandwiches are amazing and it’s better when you eat Unless you live close because the steam from the Styrofoam container can make it not as crispy. I got takeout tho, I only live 10 minutes away and when I got home, it was still crispy. I took my first bite and it was just perfect. I don’t even know what else to say, You just gotta try it. It was truly delicious. I definitely give it five stars. 😘

I've patronized Pizza Italia for many years and have done so because the food is consistently excellent, I particularly like their Sicilian style pizza. I live in Bloomfield and have countless pizza shops within a 5 mile radius so Pizza Italia is conveniently located, but given the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff I'd happily go out of my way to get to Pizza Italia. As for the atmosphere, in the past dining in was not available, but several years ago Pizza Italia underwent remodeling significantly changing the shop. Now, not only is dining in available, the atmosphere is awesome with comfortable seating and several televisions to catch up on the game and enjoy some of the best pizza and sandwiches in the city. Be sure to give Pizza Italia a try....you won't be disappointed!
Who ever is answering the phones needs to go home and take a nap.

I stopped by earlier tonight for a few slices and am seriously impressed. I did call ahead to ask if there were slices available before showing up, so there wasn’t a wait when I got there. Most places would tell you no if you called after they sold out of single slices, but the friendly gent on the other end of the call let me know that he would throw a pizza in for me. He was just as kind when I showed up to pick up my food. The pizza itself was phenomenal. I ate it cold, and it was amazing!This place is right up the street from my house, and I plan on giving them as much of my business as possible. I suggest you stop by if you want some great pizza and service.
