Love this place, esp when Brexyn is behind the bar. Admittedly all the bartenders are wonderful, and, she is great, hilarious, and her cocktails are soooo goood! This weekend she made me some of the best cocktails I have had all year.

Literally will always be my favorite bar in the city. I don’t go to bars often but if I do it’s Poetry Lounge. Plus I always need a hot dog and they have ginormous hot dogs lol And always having constant events, shows, etc. is so great since they support all kinds of artists. Shout out to all the bartenders dealing with me as well and effectively getting me crunk. U guys the real ones

one of the best bars in the whole city. a huge plus is the variety and amount of events hosted, you can see so many different types of entertainment here. highly recommend !

Visited this lounge August 31st, Sunday.. friendly people, bartenders very attentive, and they had a great band playing. Would definitely go back, enjoyed myself a great deal
Small neighborhood bar with live entertainment. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Beer/drink selection was excellent. Bartenders were quite friendly and made sure our drinks were never empty. The sound in the place was incredible and we enjoyed the singer we came to see. We parked on street for free just a short distance from the bar.

Cute atmosphere and little local shows in an intimate environment. Love the Chartruese (spelling?) poster inside, and got a great little poetry book (apparently by the owner!) from the Little Free Library outside. It was a nice morning read when I still would smoke cigs and watch the sunrise with my coffee. The old audio equipment inside on the shelf is a nice touch.
