“1st time visit and The hype is real!! Their chicken blows KFC Away!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Recommend the mash potatoes and gravy. Just delicious! Will go out of my way to eat here. prices are a somewhat high but worth it“
“The best fried chicken bar none but only when it's fresh out of the fryer. Is spicy chicken tenders are the best and what they should be using for the spicy chicken sandwich. The ghost pepper chicken sandwich is the best ghost pepper wings are really good and a spicy chicken breast bone-in is the best around but again only when fresh out of the fryer. I do have to admit the Chick-Fil-A grilled spicy chicken sandwich is the best but they don't have it on the menu anymore. There's spicy chicken sandwich has been my favorite over the chicken sandwiches but since the ghost pepper sandwich came out I like it better.“
“I rated higher because my food was tasty; good, and I enjoyed my food. I rated lower, because I called in advance before ordering to request that they would accept and get correct my specialized order, which, they stated that they wrote down on my receipt in detail after placing the order. After the food was DELIVERED, Nothing that I was told by the manager on the phone calls were completed correctly as was notated in detail, and as he said that he did on the phone. I THEN, BEING DIFFERENTLY-ABLED, HAD TO THEN GO IN PERSON TO THE LOCATION with the receipt and completely incorrect order with the detailed noted receipt (Which defeated the purpose of being abled to have the order DELIVERED). Upon arrival there was a ton of people waiting to order, and a just as long line of UberEats, Doordash, etc. driver in a separate line to pick-up their orders. The Staff wasn't slow, and production of food was high and well stocked. The staff and management team was very attentive to the my issue and went to retrieve the manager who's handwriting was all on my receipt. The manager apologetically and humbly replaced my order correctly. He did offer if I wanted to keep the wrong order...I told him no, that it's not what I would eat anyway, but I thanked him for offering. He did in turn, for my inconvenience, graciously gave me in my bag a different item. I rechecked my order and it was correct and thanked him again. Do wish Popeyes would bring back the green beans, a vegetables, not just coleslaw (as not all their locations know how to make the coleslaw well.) It's just I was raised and carried on the tradition when I raised my children (now young adults) of making sure their were vegetables and fruits for meals, so even when I want to treat myself and order out/go out to eat, I "LuV" to be able to order a veggie or 2 with my meals as my personal preference. Thank you for the good food.
PS - For: "ALL Pittsburgh, PA Popeyes and any other locations who do NOT UNDERSTAND THIS POINT - "Spice" is nice, so DON'T be AFRAID to make the "SPICY" chicken actually "SPICY", "SPICY" chicken should NOT taste like "MILD" seasoned chicken, OR "What's the point?!". The customers ordering "SPICY" chicken, should be prepared for "SPICY" chicken. If "they personally" CAN NOT handle the "SPICINESS" then THAT'S what the "MILDLY" seasoned chicken is for...for "THAT" group of customers, the customers, WHO CAN'T HANDLE IT.
Vegetarian options: NOT many
Dietary restrictions: If you're on a diet, and this is your "Sparingly" cheat day...then that's cool. I'm NOT sure if they will alter specific ingredients in their food to fit the Dietary Needs of a customer though.
Kid-friendliness: NOT any kid meals that contain kid fun toys/activities in the meals, and I haven't run across a Popeyes location in or out of the state of PA who does, but they'll say, "Hi!" to ya kids...FREE of charge! So, I guess it all depends upon "YOUR" personal idea and definition of what/how "friendliness" is to "YOU"; if that meets your bar of expectations.
Wheelchair accessibility: This location IS wheelchair accessible. They do NOT have wheelchair accessible door opening buttons for the allowing of independent self entry. Also, the designated differently-abled parking is a distance off from the used front entrance of the Popeyes location approx 6 parking stalls away from the entrance door.“
“Got the butterfly shrimp meal and a chicken sandwich. The drive thru server up sold me a large, never gotten that before in my life lol. Chicken sandwich never disappoints, don't know why I like the shrimp so much but it was delightful as well. Very friendly and fast service.“
