We live out-of-town now but Potomac Bakery is a 'must visit' every time we're back visiting family! Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. We always end-up buying a lot of extras for the ride home and for a few days afterward.
My favorite local bakery! I think I have bought everything they sell at least once, and nothing ever disappoints. Their donuts may be my favorite for everyday treats, but the layer cakes are probably the best thing they sell. It's been years since I ordered one, so I *hope* it's still true that they offer a great selection of filling and icing combinations. I will have to order a cake soon to verify. The service at both stores is always warm and friendly.
Bakery is great, girls are very friendly. They, however, do not open at 8. Apparently baked goods come from main location to this location and if there is a delay, there is nothing to purchase at 8. Absolutely the best brownies ever.
