One of the nastiest locations on campus. A robbery of academic purity.

This is the BEST Indian food in Pittsburgh HANDS DOWN. I”ve tried other Indian spots and they do not come close to Prince of India, no shade. My go to is their chicken tiki masala spice level medium with a side of extra rice and Nan bread. Putting the tiki on top of the Nan bread like a taco … CHEFS KISS OMG. When I tell you this is one if not my favorite food to eat. I can literally eat this EVERYDAY. They make it just right with the perfect amount of spice and a touch of sweetness 😩. I have ordered here so many times and each time the tiki Masala taste the exact same so their food is very consistent. The only thing I would suggest is adding more rice to their rice side , I order an extra rice because one container is not enough and compared to the ratio of Masala you get , you will definitely have more tiki masala than rice , but maybe I’m being a big back? Idk but I would highly recommend this location if you want to try Indian but beware , if you try you might get addicted 🙊😆.

Ordered some Indian food for my office lunch and it was outstanding. Tofu vindaloo was excellent (medium spice was plenty but I'm a baby). Pickup service was extremely quick and the food was nice and hot when I got it. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu, paneer, and veggie options!

Paneer biryani is worst. Plain rice mixed with paneer cubs. Paneer didn’t even seem roasted. Apart from rice and paneer, there’s no veggies at all. Other dishes are fine.

Please hear the following recommendations to improve every meal at your restaurant: stop using the fine food processor to cut the onions after you cook them. Just take 5 pounds of fresh onions each morning, chop them up, and simmer all of them down. As you make curries just take the slow melt onions and add tomato paste and water or coconut milk. Add jayantri, and cloves and cardamon to the oil you cook the onions in to get flavor. Add tulsi and other herbs like sage or thyme or rosemary as well as chili powder to the curry after you add the tomato paste. This is definitely cheaper and tastier then what you are doing right now, which seems to be cooking the gravy then food processing it which leads to the soupy texture which is not north or south Indian food but more fitting of a sauce for a sandwich. If you fed your indian grandmother this food, would she think it is a prank show?

Just meh overall. Both dishes we got were oily, oversalted, and the saag was especially fishy. Would not recommend this place.

Ordered from here because they had a special price. Even with the discount I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the food. Chicken was chewy and rubbery, rice was bland. Sauce too creamy with zero flavor. Will not be buying again and definitely not worth full price. At least my dogs will have something to eat later

This definitely isn’t any Indian cuisine in fact It doesn’t belong to any cuisine because food can not and must not taste this disgusting. It appears to be cooked by a lost 10 year old who stumbled in the kitchen for the first time. This was my maiden visit to the restaurant and what I experienced was the worst in 50+ years of life. The lamb biryani was a weird tasting goo of non descriptive red sauce bathed rice without any biryani spice, while pakoda’s ( Fritters) were raw at the center. The chicken served in Prince’s platter was the most insipid chicken. I feel bad for the chicken who died for this! . Unbelievable- the mere existence of this restaurant is a sin and utter waste of real estate space.

The saag must have been made from cream of broccoli soup. Threw the food away.

My husband decided to try this place and I'm glad he did. He ordered it via door dash and it came nice and hot.

Chicken Samosa: They were delicious ?. The green sauce was no Bueno but the brown sauce was mmm mmm good. These were the highlight of the dinner.

Lamb Curry: Baby that Lamb was tender as they come. It's more gravy like but the combination was alright with me.

Chicken Tikka Masla: My husband enjoyed it. I'm not such a fan of spice and but he tore it out.

I'll definitely order from here again.

Ordered through Uber Eats for the first time. Sadly, it’s one of the least enjoyable Indian meals I’ve had in Pittsburgh. Avoid any fried appetizers- paneer pakora was barely edible, and samosas were extremely bland. Both curries we ordered were overly creamy and little in the way of spice. Chicken Tikka Masala tasted like it used Campbell’s Cream of Tomato soup as the base. Swift delivery, and decent pricing though- but would gladly pay extra for better food in a heartbeat.
