Tonight was my first time my wife and I tried their pizza and it was excellent! I’m really sad to hear that they’re closing up shop because someone bought the building. The owners are genuinely nice people too. Bummer.
Perfect cheese pizza! Walked in to the most amazing scene to see Owner working behind pizza oven making the most perfect and delicious pies. I ordered one cheese, one pepperoni, and a Blue Pig pizza (pancetta, gorgonzola, and balsamic drizzle). Crust was thin and perfectly made, chewy, dark golden brown. High quality ingredients made by great pizza maker. Truly awesome mom and pop store.
Pepperoni was light and thin with good crust and a hint of sweetness.
Santoro's Pizzeria Italiana is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh, known for its perfect cheese pizza and high-quality ingredients. The owners are genuinely nice people, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Blue Pig pizza with pancetta, gorgonzola, and balsamic drizzle is a must-try. Sadly, the shop is closing, but the outstanding pizzas will be missed.
