Awesome experience, great vibe, great beer. Don’t let the location fool you, this spot is no secret and got busy fast. It looks quite hidden and can be tough to find and parking isn’t great, but locals know all about it.

Food was good but not the best, however, selection of beer was great as was the atmosphere, amazing and the service was great!

Cool spot for a beer. There is a parking lot attached, which is pretty nice, and it's not that pricey to park. the location is really nice, it feels very open with lots of natural light. It also has an outdoor Patio that looked inviting, but we stayed indoors. Swag was decent though they were apparently a bit low due to a recent Furry convention, but that's cool. It just means they have a great Logo that people like :)

Everything from the atmosphere, food, beer, location is fantastic… I love this place.

But the service is just bad, and really drags things down. You’ll find yourself sitting at the bar while the bartender ignores you for 15 minutes because they’re deep in conversation with another employee behind the counter. The bartenders also allow the ordering line to get 20-30 people long because they’re again deep in conversation with other customers sitting at the bar that have already been served. Very inattentive. The place would be 100 with better wait staff.

Friendly staff, dog friendly (patio), and great beers 🍻

Good eats right off the bike trial. We had smash burgers, pizza roll, and a patty melt. Everything was really good. The fries were crispy. Great beer selection.

It was really good, the 2 beers we had (stout and lager) were solid, the loaded tots were good, and the whole place had a great vibe.

If you're looking for a vibrant craft beer experience in Pittsburgh, Sly Fox Brewery at the Highline in the South Side is a must-visit! One of two Sly Fox locations in the city (the other being downtown), the Highline spot offers a full-service pub and restaurant nestled in the historic Highline complex, with a spacious, welcoming taproom that’s perfect for relaxing, socializing, or even hosting an event.
With both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s ideally situated along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, making it super accessible for bikers, walkers, and runners. The space is lively and fun, featuring games, shuffleboard, and weekly live music, along with weekday happy hour specials. Bonus: they actually brew beer on-site here!
I tried a flight to get a true taste of what Sly Fox has to offer. Here’s the rundown:
Alex’s Raspberry Lemon Ale – Light, refreshing, with bright raspberry and tart lemonade flavors. A portion of the proceeds supports Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which makes this brew even sweeter!
Morning Brew – A smooth blonde ale aged on fresh roasted coffee from De Fer Coffee. Crisp, lightly roasty, and easy to drink.
Sour Passages #005 – Brewed with tangerine and cherry, this sour was perfectly balanced with sweet, citrusy notes and a delicious finish.
Intersection Mexican Lager – Light, crisp, and served with a lime. A solid go-to beer, super refreshing and great with food.
We also had some food, and it did not disappoint. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread was the perfect shareable appetizer — packed with flavor on house-made dough. For the main dish, I went with the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, turned into a wrap with Cajun seasoning. It was fantastic, and the Cajun fries were the real star — ultra crunchy and full of flavor.
With a great menu, freshly brewed beer, a lively atmosphere, and a convenient location, Sly Fox Brewery at the Highline is perfect for a casual night out, a post-trail drink, or even a special gathering. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area

Update your hours??

What a disappointing experience. Visiting Pittsburgh from out of state and was looking forward to try some of their beers. Drove to their place at 7 pm (9 pm closing time posted online and at the entrance) and when I walked in I was told they closed early because they were not busy, while the employees were just sitting at the bar. Wish I could give 0 stars.
