After living in FLA for 15 years, I couldn't wait to move back home and treat myself to a corned beef sandwich at Smallman Deli. They do not offer chopped chicken liver any more :( so I got two latkes. Was so disappointed. Sandwich was full of gristle fat and the latkes were way over cooked. And, for the inflated prices, won't return.
It's not a very nice looking place inside. It's a very utility style setup. We got the Reuben sandwich with the french fries and we also added some spring salad. It was two of us that ate there and it cost almost $70 by the time we were done including the tip. Which is a pretty pricey for a sandwich. The sandwiches were very tasty but I can't see the amount of money they're asking for this.
Never had smallman deli. Always drove by it. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It was barely toasted, didn’t get the sauce I asked for on it, the chicken salad was extremely dry. I didn’t Hate it I just wasn’t pleased
