I have been a customer since you opened your doors Years ago. I also have been in the Birthday Club for Years. My Sister and I Celebrated our Birthdays together and we always chose Soba. Something went way left this time. The Tofu Lettuce Wraps were tasteless. We were told that they would take that off the bill . Only one was taken off and we also ordered the Smash Burger to go . We were so consumed by the bill that we forgot about the burger that we never received. We had to wait outside in the car for it to be cooked because the Waitress never put the order in. They took it off the confusing bill. Once my Sisters Husband went to eat it, it was damn near raw . That was one of my food requests. No Peanut and No under cooked meat. Not a good night. NOT AT ALL

Soba is on of those restaurants that has been around for a long time but still manages to keep things new and fresh. The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant just has a very cool chill vibe while still remaining more on the upscale side. The service was prompt and friendly. We started off with two delicious specialty cocktails, the Bangkok mule and a jalapeño margaritas. My wife and I shared a crabcake eggroll which was tasty and full of lump crab meat. I had the duck rolls. I've eaten duck at other restaurants and this might be the best I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and the portion size was big. My wife had a spicy tuna roll which was big enough to be an entree and full of fresh tuna. We were enjoying the atmosphere so much we moved up to the bar for two more cocktails after dinner.

Food is below average. I had seared tuna whatever and the duck roll. They were both so flavorless and there are lots of ingredients that just do not harmonize at all... It took an hour to come out so I sat there like a clown as well. Tbh the more I tasted it, the more disappointed I was. This dish is not even worth $18 (btw it was $45 actually). I want to say more but I dont want to be sued.

Super sharp and absolutely passionate-about-food Ms. Ashley took care of our table. I haven't tried a lot of fine dining in Pittsburgh, but I have other places and Soba and staff really excell at upping the finer aspects of the experience in Pittsburgh. What a delightful menu full of dynamic, flavorful, Asian fusion experiences. I felt so special and cared for by everyone, but it was very easy to celebrate everyone involved in the service of our experience. LOVE IT!

10/10 - sit in the lounge, order a few cocktails (the bangkok mule was amazing) and share a couple of small plates (rock shrimp tempura, tuna crispy rice and pork dumplings were are delicious) - you won't regret it!

I was sat in the corner with my girlfriend. It was probably the ideal spot for a dinner for two. Food was not really my taste but my girlfriend liked it a lot. They also brought out a card and birthday decorated dessert. Great night

Soba is my daughter's favorite for her birthday outing. Certainly a big treat. We enjoy seeing some favorites like the salmon, sushi, and edamame, and look forward to trying new items like the mushrooms, smashburger, and seasonal desserts. And many thanks to the staff. The reservation reminder, the birthday card, and the overall staff friendliness.

Always excellent! Lexi (though she wasn't there, she helped with a reservation request the day prior), Gemma, and Jeff along with the bartenders and servers made for a great evening!

I had a bit of a mixed experience. On the day of our reservation, I'm not sure if there was a party or what , but the noise was extreme, and it made the whole atmosphere pretty uncomfortable . The food itself was fantastic, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our appetizers actually arrived before our drinks, which was surprising but okay. However, the main courses took over 30 minutes to come out, which put a damper on things.

We had a really great experience celebrating our birthday here at SOBA! From start to finish, the service was polite and attentive. We never felt rushed or that we had to wait excessively long for food or drink. The restaurant has 2 floors, we sat upstairs and thought it was a little quieter which was perfect for conversation. The ambiance and decor are really nice as well, and the drinks are fun. The best part was the personalized happy birthday card from the staff and the wonderful chocolate mousse dessert! I would totally come back to celebrate another special occasion.

Always an exceptional experience at SOBA. We were happy to return for another great meal. Service - thanks Megan - was great. Many thanks SOBA for consistently achieving excellence.

A favorite! The food is excellent and the staff is delightful. Food cooked to just the right temp, combinations creative and delicious. The cocktails are fun and lovely sippy. Love to sit in the bar area, or outside upstairs, or in the dining areas. Depending on your group!

Soba is always one of our favorite spots for a special occasion dinner. Great vibe and wonderful selection of interesting creative foods. I especially enjoyed the short rib bao buns on this visit. Of course prices continue to get higher which is why we don't visit more often.
