Fried pickles were overdone but the rest of the food was pretty good. Service was excellent!

If I could give -5 stars, I would. Everything was terrible....from the service to the food. The waitress forgot several parts of our order multiple times, the food was inedible, and it really ruined our entire morning. I am extremely patient and will always be kind to service staff because I know how hard those jobs are and how much people can suck sometimes. I was out of patience and still quite hungry when I left. Do yourself a favor, get breakfast somewhere else. Even though the little that we received and ate was free, it cost me time and experience.

Went in this afternoon before the Penguins game. The table was dirty and we had to ask 3 times before they cleaned it. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Swiss Burger which is supposed to come with gruyere garlic mayonnaise. I asked them to leave the onions off. It came with onions and without mayo. They also brought out the wrong food for my sister We had to ask after they served the food for them to bring napkins/utensils.If the food had been good at least it would have been a decent price performer. My brother-in-law said the Reuben was good but my burger definitely was not tasty. After the meal we went to use the bathroom which is in the lobby of the hotel. There was a line of at least 40 people waiting at the front desk. (It was 1:30 in the afternoon so I can't imagine why there would be even a medium size line.) So apparently the hotel is poorly run too.

It’s a buffet, don’t believe that you can order food. Really should update the menu

Stayed at the Marriott for several nights and had food in the restaurant and room service. Delicious!! Nice atmosphere - we were there for a Pens game and there were lots of hockey fans there.

Went in to get an app before an event at PPG Arena. Slow service and inattentive waiter. Solid pretzel though so at least two stars.

Loved the veggie curry with Jasmine rice, and I'm not normally a Jasmine rice fan. The side of mushroom was good too. Prep time was acceptable and room service pleasant.

The staff is the most outstanding element here. That being said, I stopped in for a light lunch during a conference and had an AMAZING bowl of soup that was delicious and filling. Their portions are large and my soup kept me going for the afternoon sessions.

We stopped for a quick light dinner before a concert. Having been there many years ago we expected a too fancy, too expensive menu. Instead we were pleasantly surprised. The selections were perfect for a pre-game/concert and for fast service to get a lot of people in and out quickly. We loved everything we ordered from soups to salads to the fantastic crab nachos! Can’t wait to go back soon!

Have been here 5-6 times over the last 3 years and always get a great burger. Very busy bar scene and always packed before events at PPG. The menu is solid and probably underrated from other local hotel bar restaurants.

Recently, my friend and I were going to a concert at PPG Arena and parked at the Marriott, so decided to come here for dinner before the concert. The wine was good and the appetizers we ordered were delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was attentive even though they were busy.

The buffet is quite good, will make eggs to order and omelets. Fresh pastries and fruit fill out their offerings. Also, have a full breakfast menu if you prefer to sit and enjoy1
