? Freaking obsesssssseddd with this all vegan ice cream shop!? We aren’t local but when in the area, Sugar Spell was on our TOP things to do after hearing so much hype online. It lived up and BEYOND! Super cute & adorable ice cream shop. Loved the vibes & decor! The woman & man working were super kind. Love that they hand-make ALL of their ice cream flavors. You can get scoops of just the ice cream or get one of their famous sundaes. Vegan sundaes you say? YES PLEASE! We got the spring themed sundae they were offering which was delicious peanut butter & vanilla icecream with peanut butter drizzle, peanut butter cookie bites, home made whipped cream- it was SO good.I’ve had a LOT of vegan ice cream in my life but Sugar Spells is the best I’ve had. It’s SO creamy. They have so many FUN flavors. And making vegan sundaes? Even more special.Come here for some amazing ice cream, fun vibes, creative vegan sundaes and just passionate people slaying sweet treats for all. Vegan or not- come enjoy & support this small business ! ?

This is one of my favorite businesses in Sharpsburg. They're so creative and artsy, and the place is a joy to visit. The ice cream is delicious and always generously filled with candies and confections. I love their Instagram account photos too; I can't possibly try all the flavors, so it is nice to be able to see all the new flavor names and creations.

Ok, so I knew Chosen Crumble would be doing a pop-up at Sugar Spell Scoops and love their vegan bakery items. I arrived and ordered some ice cream and it was creamy, and rich and soooo good!!! I am vegan, so it's very hard to find vegan takeout in Pittsburgh. I will definitely return to try theirnother ice cream flavors which were so unique and take a pint, or two, home.

Finally was in the area on a Sunday when they were open and was able to try this ice cream!First of all, they had really adorable kitschy vintage decor for Halloween. My daughter loved it! I did too. We tried peanut butter chocolate ripple and pumpkin caramel cream. I liked them both! The PB ripple was very peanut buttery, which is my favorite ice cream flavor. The chocolate ripple was pretty liquid, not like a thick fudge ripple. It added a sugary flavor which balanced the creamy chocolate, but it wasn't very well distributed through the ice cream, so you'd get a mostly chocolate syrup bite, and then the rest of the dish was only PB.I slightly preferred the pumpkin caramel, which was a mix of a creamy vanilla caramel ice cream, with almost a marshmallow texture and flavor, as well as a very strong pumpkin spice ice cream. The pumpkin was maybe a little much, it was almost bitter, but it was so nicely distributed and balanced by the sweet creamy flavor I didn't mind much. Even though the flavor combos weren't completely spot on, I thought the texture and flavor of the ice cream base itself was pretty much unbelievable for a vegan product. It was thick and creamy. Melted like a dream!

The chocolate covered oreo and witches brew are my favorite. Always a treat to come in! I pick up pints when I have friends/family visiting

I'm sorry I went here to support local businesses I could of went to dairy queen for prices they were charging. The name of the place is cute though, but the ice cream is NON DAIRY. I'm not a fan of that.
