Got food when I believe a lady named... Elena was working.... Was so good! Forever chasing that same vibe. I will only go in if she's working

The bowls here rock. The sushi is edible.

Nice fast casual spot for a quick, healthy meal. The additional ingredients I got were all fresh, cucumber, and spring mix greens. The salmon sashimi was good. I made my base with steamed white rice. You get a lot of rice; I couldn't finish it. I will look for this chain in other cities for a quick, GF, allergy meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options, they have an area for i gredients like Chipolte to add to meals. Depending on the allergy, it could be safe for you.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, electric door button and small ramp/slope to get through door from side walk.

Note that I got this delivered so I can't take ambiance of the restaurant into account. They did get the food to me in a timely manner, around 30 minutes. The food itself is underwhelming. There are a lot of options in the city for sushi and poke, and this is one that I would avoid. I got a poke bowl with raw yellowtail and various toppings. The rice is seasoned, but not cooked evenly (some of the rice was harder and some was softer), their other toppings are fine, the same you would expect at another restaurant. With this alone, it would get 3 stars (average) but unfortunately the fish I was served tasted fishy. I don't know if this is always the case, but I have to take points off for this as it shows a lack of quality control to me, chefs should taste the fish prior to serving and not serve fish that is fishy (all of my pieces tasted this way, so it wasn't a one-off thing). Personally I would not order from here again as there are other options in the city that do sushi better (in my experience). Even if the fish wasn't fishy, there are other restaurants that do poke for better and cheaper (specifically places like JJ Poke which is in very close proximity to Atarashi).

Great sushi and fair prices in my opinion! They do get quite busy at night so don’t be surprised if there is a wait. Plenty of different sushi options available. They accept Pitt off campus dining dollars which is awesome for students with a meal plan. The workers here are nice.Vegetarian options: Options are limited but exist.

Update: really disappointed that they got rid of the baked tofu and vegan ponzu sauce. Atarashi isn't worth it to me anymore. Original: This place can get packed with college kids but it's definitely worth the bit of a wait when that happens. I love making my own bowl. The spring rolls and miso soup are also really good! One thing I wish they had is ice. The water just comes out of a little tap.

Great place fast service. Clean friendly staff can't ask much more from a place in Oak. Very delicious food and drinks. I built my own roll and it was magnificent. I will be back 100% ?

Awesome Poke!! I'll either dine in while on the Pitt campus, or order in, and every time I order from Atarashi it is amazing. I love that they put the sauce in cups on the side to ensure you have the correct amount according to your taste. I also love that the Poke is very customizable, and comes in cardboard bowls. The portion size is quite large (for me at least) and I can get 2 meals out of it. Hands down one of my favorite sushi places now!

I would always come here even before it turned into Atarashi. They now discontinued chicken tempura and only carry grilled chicken. Even tho I would always have to wait for chicken tempura, it was always my go to and it was nice knowing it was fresh. Long time customer no more.

Made to order and fresh. Spicy roll wasn't too spicy but the Wasabi was fresh and had a lot of heat.
